Not bad at all...
This worked just fine for me. Picked up at my local HD, read the reviews after I got it home, but tried it out anyway. I am reupholstering the cushions in our RV and the Arrow T50 5/16" staples slid right through the layers of heavy outdoor fabric and into the plywood backing. The only negative is that the magazine works its way loose every now and then. A quick snap back into place and I'm good to go. Sorry so many had trouble with it. Nice little stapler for a DIY'er!

Don't buy anything made by Arrow!
Complete waste of time and money. I purchased this to assemble a balsa wood project. Yes, that's right balsa wood at a whopping 3/8 inch thick. I read the other reviews but figured for balsa it would be O.K. since it's more akin to paper than a wood on the scale of wood hardness. This piece of junk couldn't even penetrate 3/4 of the thickness of my 3/8 in project balsa. As a result it's useless. When it's not going through the wood and your taking a small hammer to drive the staples in you spend the rest of the time unjamming this piece of garbage. It jammed on average anywhere between 40-60% of the time.I later had to purchase a hand operated one made by DeWalt that was more powerful and hasn't jammed once since I've had it.The bottom line is this thing is junk and will drive you mad using it. Listen to this and other reviews and don't even consider this item or anything else Arrow tries to pander as an item that will get the job done.

Very little power driving staples.
It's nothing like described in a working manner. It won't drive a staple into a piece of pint more than 3/4 of the way. If it had more power it would get a better rating because it's a quality made tool but no matter the quality of it doesn't work it's not worth having.

NOT recommended
This tool did not meet any expectations! After 20 staples were fired the tool jammed constantly despite using the recommended staples. using the1/4 inch staples and 3/8 inch staples it would not drive into soft pine, and jammed the feed track at the dispensing end. I returned it.
