I got this so my special needs kiddo could feel a little more independent when opening her thermos. It is wonderful. She LOVES it for when she takes hot food. She also loved the attention of everyone asking where she got it! The price had me hesitating since I have a cabinet of bentos that never get used. But this is used every single day! This self-contained and easy to clean lunch box is a winner!! It's a little bulky and heavy. But that doesn't make it awkward since you can snap everything together and pick it up by its handle and go! I love that you can remove the seal and give it a good wash! We have had soup in her thermos and other items that could leak -- but once you snap everything together it is good to go!! Best part -- is it is easy for my kid to open the lunch box, the thermos and to put everything back together again!!

I fid the booling water trick vs just tightening the cap very well and screw on correctly, and my kids said no difference. Food its warmer then other thick lunch box. It’s not the warm i was expecting though. Its a little warmer then “room temperature “ on a summer day. I like that its leak proof. And the size of compartment my 2nd grader and kindergarten kids said its a lot of food. Sometimes they finished half on lunch the other on snack time. Its very study. I love the quality. 💯

Super cute, durable and leak proof!! The only thing I wish was that the leak proof seal (orange thing one the third picture) already came on. It was a nightmare trying to get it on took a good 5 tries. Will come back in 30 days to update review if needed. But, since Aug we wanted to try the Omi box but, couldn't see myself spending 45$ for a lunch box. We love our Bento bramd lunch boxes. However, always sending a thermal on the side for our kindergarten as well as for the lunch box is to much sometimes. So finally decided to spend the money and our little loves it! Warm food and cold food all in one.
