This is a very handy multi tasking tool.
This has turned out to be a very handy tool. I'm using it for all sorts of little projects around the house and it's nice not to have to go get a different tool every time I turn around. It feels solid, of very good quality, and I think it is likely to last a long time. I had to buy a second one of these because my son swiped the first one I bought. I can't blame him, I really like it too. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to keep a variety of commonly used tools in a limited space. It certainly tidies up my kitchen drawer. My son keeps his in the driver side door panel of his vehicle.

Great stocking stuffer
Very heavy duty. Using it as a stocking stuffer for my husband who has it all!

Compact, versatile, and ok--but no more--for lots of things.
I needed something for my office, where I frequently find myself having to tighten just one screw, or just one thing, or adjust just one line by a fraction of an inch. This handy little tool can do all of that. But I wouldn't want to use it for any serious projects. The hammer has a small head and short handle, making it difficult--but not impossible--to use. (The claw pull is pretty much useless, though.). The knife blade is okay, the wire cutters are fine for small-gauge wires, the pliers can grip somethings. For me, this's a handy alternative to the full tool kit I'd have to bring from home for any real job, and this thing fits neatly in my desk. For less than $3, that's a great deal.

11 yrs later...
Kept it in the car and 11 years later (bought it in 2014) is in very good condition (with minimal maintenance).

Hammer is Key Feature of this Multi-tool
I have several different "Swiss Army" type knifes and multi-tools. I bought this tool because none of them make good hammers when you need a hammer. Using them for hammering is an abuse of a knife or multi-tool. This small hammer is the right size for small pounding jobs. It has the heft to drive home small nails as long as the wood is not too dense. I would get a regular 16 oz carpenter's hammer for pounding spikes where I need the swing as it is rather short, but this will do for most small utility type jobs. The other aspects of this tool make it a useful utility knife and multi-tool. I expect to use this where I don't need a really good knife for the job or the more extensive tool set on my high end multi-tool.

I love it. If I need something quick or handy ...
I know several people have not given this a favorable review, but for what it is, I love it. If I need something quick or handy for a simple (non industrial) quick fix, I can grab this tool and use it quickly. This tool is not good for construction jobs or heavy duty wood-working. It is a handy thing to have in your kitchen junk drawer, your glove compartment of your car, or your desk drawer for those quick tasks where you don't want to drag out your tool box. For tacking up a nail for hanging a small picture, for something small that you want to cut while in the yard or on a camping trip, this is a nice tool to have.

A handy little tool for emergencies
I like to do small thing at home: an extension cord for my phone, moving the cable, tv and set top box, hanging pictures on the wall, adding a computer to the network without a hanging wire, those kind of stuff. And I wanted a small tool to do that without carrying a full tool box. And I saw this tool, and, based on the price, I said, "What the hell, let's give it a try." A warning for those guys living outside the USA: customs duties and taxes are quite expensive, I ended up paying 55% of its value because this tool is made in China, and subject to compensatory quota. The tool is quite light and handy, but not perfect. The hammer is strong enough to put a nail in a brick wall, and the nail claw can remove small nails, but don't expect them to be able to remove a concrete nail. The pliers can remove small nuts and bolts, but they can't be opened that much and the inside space isn't that great. I wasn't able to cut a 12-gauge wire, by example, because I couldn't open the wire cutter enough; little problems with 14-gauge wire if the insulation was big enough; and no problems for telephone wiring. The knife is sharp but maybe a little short, the serrated blade doubles as a sharpener and a flat screwdriver, the can and bottle opener has two wire strippers. However, there are two tools that are almost useless. There is a small flat screwdriver and a small Phillips screwdriver, located around the middle part of the tool, that are simply too short: the flat one is blocked in it's reach by the hammerhead, the Phillips one is blocked by the pliers' handle. They would be useful if they were either longer or located at the bottom of the tool. So it's not a perfect tool, but it may be useful when you don't have a toolbox in hand. Certainly it had been useful for me, but far from perfect.
