Small size, can run programs or manual
Worked out very well, reasonably easy to program. Like the small form factor I like the sides flip open to gain access to the programming and control buttons

Seems like a good thermostat for my 2000 watt 240 volt baseboard wall electric heater
Easy to follow instructions. Works correctly. Controls seem good. Does take up a lot of room in the electrical box, so you may have trouble jamming all the wiring in like I did. But it did fit.My baseboard heater uses two 120 hot wires and does not use the white neutral, which typically completes the circuit to the ground bar in the breaker box. Since the two 120s oscillate with opposite sine waves, the twin hot completes the circuit. I did not understand this before I installed my heater and it gave me pause.

220 volt heating thermostat
Pros: small size, elegant, easy to use, and you can see the reading compared to the analog old thermostat. This one does not heat up while working as we had another brand before this one and it was hot and had smoke smell. Just to be clear, we got these thermostats at the end of winter, so we did not use it a lot.Cons: we actually bought a total of three after buying one and testing it and it was accurate. One of the major problem especially with one was the packaging was damaged as shown in the pictures. However, the unit was intact and had no signs of damage, so I installed it on the hope it will be good. All units are working, however the one with the damaged packaging was reading 2-3 degrees higher than it should be (76 vs 73). As shown in one of the photos. To make sure that it is not the other thermometer I am comparing to, I tested the other unit with the same thermometer and the reading was very close (one degree difference, 73 vs 72 for the other thermometer. I was planning to send the unit back, but the hassle of removing the unit, put the old unit back, and then do the same thing again when getting the replacement unit. That’s too much work.

$5 more for programmable one
This is nice enough thermostat but you can get the 7-day programmable one for $5 more. The programmable ones do take a little more space inside the electrical box though which can be a bit of trouble. They are also not very intuitive to program, I always have to get the manual out to change the programmable one that I do have. Just also be sure to verify whether you need the single pole or double pole version. It’s a nice enough kit in any case. Included 4 good quality wire nuts and mounting screws that were even long enough for my old real plaster walls. I have had a programmable one in my bedroom for a few years now and I’ve found it can control temperature very precisely. These digital line voltage Honeywells appear able to modulate power continuously as opposed to the typical bang-bang (on-off) control method on cheaper stats. So, when I finally got tired of chasing the cheap thermostat in my living room, I got one of these, albeit not the programmable version.

Simple electronic thermostat
I bought this thermostat to replace an old thermostat that had stopped working correctly. Simple to use and seems to work well. More precise regulating the heater than ar regular mechanical thermostat.

Good product
Great product, works like it should for electric baseboard heat, and accurate. Very easy to set and use.

NICE REPLACEMENT THERMOSTAT
Replaced old school Honeywell rotary thermostats (new ones in white) for baseboard heaters. Temperature control wasn't precise on those and they wore out over time in my experience. Just because you set it at 65 or 70 didn't mean the actual room was going to be 65 or 70. It was an aged mechanical design.Enter TL7235A1003. Installation was simple. Disconnect red and black from old thermostat and reconnect to this. Only word of caution. The footprint on this is a tad smaller than old rotary thermostat. A little paint tuch up may be necessary.Appearance is modern and sleek. Backlight is nice. Real time temperature is accurate and precise. Best part is once temperature begins to reach desired setting, I believe the thermostat backs off and shuts down power to baseboard heater. Heater continues to provide residual heat. Say you set it at 68, at about 65-66 power is reduced or shut down and temperature gradually rises to 68. Temperature falls to 66-67 and it gives it a little more juice. The heat on indicator has three bars. It reduces to two and then one when this setting is in action. Good price too. Big box stores do not stock item, online only.Programmable thermostat appeared to be a PITA IMO for a few bucks more. Went this route.Purchase again? YES
