This beaniecan definitely keep you warm. The exterior knitted material is soft to the touch and the interior is very comfortable. The knitted facemask has the same exterior knitted material but the interior of the facemask is a low quality white cotton which can lose its appeal if you wear it it without washing your mouth after stuffing your mouth with cake. I say this because it is prone to dirt and smudges and needs washing like old cotton. The beanie can hold itself for days, weeks, and months without wash and can carry the smell of your unwashed hair if you sweat a lot. Pros: Overall, the beanie holds up to its promise of being comfortable in the head and keeps you warm.CONS: If the weather is too cold, you will like the beanie because you will not feel your sweats because you just want to keep it on. In the midwest, where I currently live, I like wearing this beanie under 25F weather. At 30F, my scalp begins to sweat and I am not comfortable because the beanie traps the moisture and it builds up. I have to remove the beanie when I am inside the bus or inside buildings. I say this because the beanie is FASHIONABLE and I like wearing it as a fashion statement while indoors or while shopping at Walmart with my fellow ho hos. I also don't like the facemask after a while because I get too sweaty and I have to remove them to expose my pretty smile when I can just pretend to wear this mask with the matching beanie to look like a hollywood star like my boi Jared Leto.Overall, I love this mask and beanie combo when it is really freezing outside. I don't like the accumulation of moisture and now I have to remove the mask and beanie to be comfortable again and I have to stuff them on my jacket pocket man pocket which can make me look pregnant with my man belly combo.

The hat covers my large head and even my ears. The inside is made from that soft furlike (not actual fur) inside that really traps the heat perfectly! Head is able to move about without the hat sliding or coming off. This is a hat for comfort and not hard core outback surviving in the artic. The fact that it is knit should make the obvious to anyone looking for a more rugged head warmer. This was mentioned not as a minus but just pointing it out.The minus was the face guard is not attached to the hat, which was a bit of a disappointment to me as I liked the look and thought of both the mask and the hat being one piece. I didn't subtract anything for that as i can sew. The mask part has ear straps which made it feel covid and not a design I would have gone with. The one thing that almost gave a negative star for was the masks has a metal wire inside. Im guessing to hold your nose. The metal wire was removed with a little effort. I would have preferred either snap buttons or velcrow for the mask and it be without the metal wire. Still this hat mask combo is doing great keeping my face and head warm and I plan to keep it.

This hat arrived just in time for the ultimate test in frigid cold weather. On December 23, 2022 the temperature had plunged to -2 from 40 less than 12 hours earlier. In addition, it was extremely windy with 30 -40 mph gusts. What a perfect time to try the new hat that had just arrived the previous day. The dog insisted on getting his nightly walk and out in the frigid, blustery weather we went. I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised to find this hat resisted the wind and cold temperatures during the walk in extremely harsh conditions. The hat fits snug on my head and fully covers the ears but wasn't slouchy as indicated. However, that is not a deal breaker for me as warmth and wind resistance are my primary requirements. Hopefully, the lining will stay attached as a few others have reported that as a problem. Overall, I would rate this an excellent purchase for a hat that will resist wind and keep your head and ears warm.

I like the appearance of the hats, the fur lining is comfortable and the stretch cover any size noggin.

Love these kinds of hats. However, the colors shown do not really end up being what you get. I ordered a green and brown variant. Unless you are in strong, direct light, they look to be grey and red. The brown one actually looks red the majority of the time. The green one has lots of grey too it, so it will look grey probably most of the time too. Been wearing them over a week now and that is my observation. I am a bit irked that my green one looks like a grey one I had bought in the past year.Everything else is great. Maybe they can look into making the colors more vibrant in lower light?
