Penguin Caffeinated Wintergreen Mints, 32 oz

I like the mints. They only have a small amount of caffeine so I can have 5 or 6 whenever I want. I move these from the manufacturers bag to a quart size zipper bag to keep them fresh. The manufacturer really should have thought of this.

The mints definitely have a good bit of caffeine in them. 5 or 6 and you end up having about as much caffeine as a cup or coffee. The taste is minty but it leaves an after taste of cheap toothpaste. Theres so many they're hard to get through though!

The mints taste good at first. After a minute or so the flavor wears off and you're left with the taste of just caffeine. At that point I chew them up. They don't leave your breath super clean like most mints will. But It's a nice little caffeine boost. You're going to need to chew several to get a substantial boost. But hey, you get fresh breath!

Bought the other brand of mints in little tins. Loved those, so looked for cheaper mints. These Penguin wintergreen mints taste just as good, half the price, and are just as effective with the 7 mg caffeine each. 35 mg is a can of Coke. The 32 oz bag gets you exactly 1,300 mints, at 2 cents a piece. Will package them 50 per bag as little $1 Christmas gifts, and keep some for myself, and to pass around to friends.

I carry them in the car and in my pocket for fresh breath and getting rid of "dry mouth" when there's no water around.
