Great skimmer
I've been in this hobby for several years and managed without using a skimmer however I finally choose to give this protein skimmer a try and it's amazing. There was little to no break in period, it began skimming right away. It's footprint in the sumo is amazing. I still have plenty of room to add additional equipment if needed.Quality: it's made really well and easy to assemble. Very impressed with its quality.Tuning: fine tuning the skimmer is fairly easy just adjust according to your water level and preferred waterline within the skimmer.Maintenance: Easy to clean, empty out the top cup when needed.Overall I recommend this product to anyone looking to save space in the sump and looking for a good quality product.FYI my skimmer seats on a stand that is 9 inches high. I found this to be a good height for the skimmer to run well.

it functions great, but the pump should last
pump only lasted 2 yrs and that is with deep cleaning ever 6 months. it functions great, but the pump should last longer

Work horse.
This works perfectly and does an fantastic job. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a variable speed motor to help dial it in. The tuning mechanism works but at least for my setup, it's a bit of a pain to dial in. Can't complain about the results once it is though. I'm using this on a 100 gallon setup with a medium to heavy bioload and so far this is keeping up just fine.

easy to set up
Very impressed with the RO classic 150. It's big skimmer performance for little skimmer money. Quiet, easy to set up, easy to dial in, and works like a charm. Started skimming immediately. Very good product.

Outstanding skimmer. Easy to set up and maintain. Can calibrate for wide range of wet to dry skimming. Great value for my salt water tank. 5 stars.

Freaking love this thing!110gal salt water with sump.Fish look much healthier the few corals I have popped with even more life and any algee I had I can't even find. Should have got this a long time ago
