Really awesome desk lamp
Great for a Minecraft enthusiast. Relatively bright, but not overly bright so you don’t get any glare or distraction while gaming/working. I also like that you can choose to unplug and recharge it, or just keep it plugged in at all times. It’s always sad when the coolest gaming lamps are battery powered only. Only complaint is the base isn’t 100% even, but it’s more than stable to stay on a desk and not rattle around. Just odd that it’s not perfectly even. I think that’s a design to it and not a one-off either. Either way, I love this lamp.

pretty cool lamp
arrived broken but was able to epoxy the top back on and it looks/works fine. battery lasts a pretty long time.

Nice bright flashlight/nightlight. Cord very short.
(In use every day for at least 2 weeks) we've only had to charge the torch once and it's been great! It has a self shut-off sat some point because it's not still on in the AM when I go wake my kid up. We don't really play with it roughly, so I can't really speak to it's durability, but it seems well enough built. I'm sure the red colored bit around the top could chip or break if hit too hard or dropped on tile, but we haven't done that yet. It cycles through colors, white, red, blue and green, but the only spot that the other colors can truely be seen is out the top as that's the only spot that doesn't have the red-tinted part over it.The biggest (in my opinion) downside so far is that the charging cord it comes with is epicly short so if you were going to try to hang it up on the wall and leave it on and charging at the same time, you will have to outsource the charging cable. The charging cable is about 6 inches long.

The first one broke after 4 months
My son got this as a birthday gift from a friend and he absolutely loves it. Uses it as a nightlight when going to sleep and to help when we read a story before bed. Very bright when you have it fully charged! But the bulb or whatever it takes is internal and not replaceable. After a little over 4 months of pretty good use it stopped lighting up. The red light would still charge and eventually turn green when done. But no light up so something eventually blew out.My son was devastated so we bought him another one to replace it. No clue why that happened. This thing is not cheap for what it is you're buying so we'd have expected it to last a couple years and not 4 months.

Fun gift! be careful though, it's a little fragile
Absolutely great night light for a minecraft fan. My kids use it every night. The only complaint I've had is the whole thing is made of hard plastic and the fins on the top are really not very durable at all. One good fall and they will break off. Easy to glue back on, and I wouldn't say thats a reason not to buy the light, but it is a consideration if you have rowdy kids!

Awesome gift for older kids
Bought this for an 8 year old boy for Christmas. He loves Minecraft, so this was right up his alley. My only regret is that I didn't buy one for his sister too! It lights up really nicely, and he loves it so much that he keeps it in bed with him. To create the pixelated look for the light itself, it does have pieces of transparent orange plastic that jut out from the top. This isn't problem for him, he takes good care of it, but I wouldn't trust a younger child with it. If it gets banged off of anything, I expect these fragile-looking pieces of plastic would probably break pretty easily.

A little too fragile for kids, cord not included.
Do yourself a favor and if you get this wall mount it immediately. The Acrylic flame structure is barely secured to the top of the torch. Even the smallest bump will break off sections of the flame. We initially really liked this my son thought it was the coolest thing ever. It did not take long at all for the top section to detach from the light portion. The idea here is really awesome, there are just some design flaws with the acrylic being attached. Something marketed for kids like this should also be able to stand up to regular use from a child as well. This does not.The cord is not included, you will need to purchase one separately. For me the cost is way to high for the let down when this eventually breaks. If you are an adult and into Minecraft merch and plan to just use this as a shelf sitter or wall mount it then it maybe a good purchase for you. For my 7 year old son, not so much. Too expensive to have outlived it's usefulness already. The light is really bright.
