Works great!
Plug and play, just like the ad says! For reference, I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla. It diagnosed the issue, luckily it’s not an emergency. And now I know exactly what the car needs. The price was great too!

Worth the money. Good quality.
A very good handy scanner with Fuel trims live data. Priceless function for a cheap priced scanner.

One of the cheapest scanner that can read ABS/SRS codes
I looked through a lot of scanners. Most $25 ones are good for engines, but won't read ABS/SRS codes. This one was able to pick up the SRS codes in my 08 Corolla. You may have to set the region of your vehicle to get it working.Considering profession scanners can go above $1000, a $60 scanner that can read most codes is a banger of a deal for regular customer trying to diagnose/fix their car's faults.

The Live View Updates Live!
My 2011 Chevrolet Impala kept giving me the "Engine Hot / AC off" warning, and after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor and wires to it, the issue persisted. So with the live view of this Thinkcar OBD2 reader, I was able to watch the temperature rise from 92 degrees when I started the car, up to 190 degrees while driving. It's not a snapshot. It updates live, one or two degrees at a time. With this realization that the engine wasn't actually overheating, and seeing the P0128 code, I was able to figure out that the thermostat was stuck open, and learn that the "Engine Hot" error also displays when the engine hasn't reached the expected operating temperature in the expected time. So actually, the engine was too cool. I can quickly erase the code with this reader, and get the A/C working again.I replaced the thermostat, and so far that has solved the problem. For the $10 this OBD2 reader cost me, it's been a fantastic tool providing valuable insight.

Doesn’t work on older Fords and maybe other older vehicles
This was my favorite low end obd2 scanner. I own three of them. After using it on a 2002 Ford Winstar and getting a communication error a replaced the obd2 port on the van. Still didn’t get communication. I spent a lot of time checking all the wiring and modules until I finally realized it was the scanner. It also didn’t work on a 1999 F150, 2003 Ford E350, and 1996 ford E250.
