I have previously used commercial plastic dips similar to this and not had and not had nearly as nice an outcome as I did with this Pasti-Dip material.We have several high-end kitchen knives what came with some nice "soft" silicone like "permanent" handle covers that over time and use began to split leaving the bare handles much smaller and very uncomfortable. Since I knew that this type of product was available I looked on Amazon and found this Plasti-Dip. I masked off the handles and I dipped each handle five times to build-up this size of the handles following the directions to the letter. After each dipping I hung the knives vertically in a warm room to dry between dippings. The material is self-leveling and came out perfectly smooth and very comfortable in the hand when finished. There wasn't a bump, drip or imperfection anywhere on any of these newly perfect handles on our beloved knives and they look great too.It's a great product for so many things possibly limited only by your imagination. I highly recommend Plasti-Dip!!

AWESOME QUALITY

I ordered red, but got black, even though the warehouse label said it was red. Anyway, it works, and I would buy it again.

Only sent one 14.5 oz can. Clearly said 1 pack of 6 and the price per oz figured for six 14.5 oz (87 oz) cans. They won't return item either. Mine didn't even come with the plastic cap to put on after you open. You need to dip at least 3 coats and wait at least 30 min between coats so mine will have dried up before I even get the first tool dipped. Probably an ok product but wouldn't buy from these guys.

You really have to transfer the contents to air tight last or bottle after you open it. I think shipping it with that silly lid is a plot to make you buy a new can every use. Honestly people believe crazier things than that everyday now.

I have this plastic dip in black and have used it to coat pliars handles and knife handles. I bought a pair of new scissors but there was no coating on the handles so they hurt my hands every time I used them. I didn’t want to have black handles so I ordered the plastic dip in the red. I coated the handles in red and what a difference! I can use the scissors without pain to my hands. I recommend this product.

This id some real tough stuff! Dipped non-roughed steel J-Hooks and it stuck real well and has great wear characteristics.

Great for plier handles. Easy to apply. Sets up VERY fast. Great product. I would buy it again. But, whatever you do, don’t knock the container over on your tool bench like I did. Hardens very quickly. You will need an air hammer to clean it up.
