Reasonably bright, RGB control through the app is great, the app in general is very robust and connects reliably to multiple units.I wish it had another way of charging other than being in a powered up fixture, a USB-C or mini connection would have been great here. The spread isn’t quite the same as a traditional bulb as the light is directed mostly upwards which may be a problem if you’re wanting to put it in a table lamp and have an even amount of light from the top as the bottom. The unit controls for putting it into AC or battery mode is unintuitive at first and ideally they could have printed the instructions on the side of the unit perhaps but this is only a problem first time you work with the unit, once you know you know.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to any gaffers/DPs who want a few wee controllable fixtures in their bag of tricks for replacing units on a location shoot.Buy a bayonet to Edison screw adapter and an extension cord you can plug into the wall for charging and mounting the unit in a paper lantern. You’ll thank yourself later.

Easy to manage and use. A bit heavy but brightens up like a charm. You can carry it around anywhere you like and that's quite handy for photographs.

Good build quality. Shame you can't turn it on beforehand it gets a 24v signal from a lamp. Hopefully firmware changes that.

The Aputure Accent B7C LED Light Bulb is an incredible tool in a lighting camera person’s arsenal. The RGBWW light is superb and can be dimmed/coloured to any scene. Incredible service from E-Shop Digital Studio, great price and quick delivery time.I will definitely use E-Shop Digital Studio again and I love Aputure products.

It really is an amazing light when you can get it to turn on. You then have to try and pair it to the Sidus Link app, which I've found very hit and miss - you need this to access all the settings and special effects. Maybe I have a faulty unit, but pairing it with an iPhone XS was a frustrating experience (I have read all the instructions multiple times). Eventually I can usually get it to work, but I would not want to take these on a professional shoot as they would probably waste a lot of time. If Aputure can iron out the bugs these would be amazing.

This Aputure B7C bulb is fantastic, it's so affordable and such an amazing creative tool on set.It's pretty bright, comparible to phillips hue. Not enough to use an individual bulb as a key light unless your camera is really sensitive, but as an accent light it's perfect! And you can always do what I did making a ring light with 16 of the bulbs to get a much more powerful key!It also contains an internal battery for running it in locations without power. This is super useful, as sometimes on set you just need to hide a cable, or move a lamp for a certain shot without worrying about cabling it, so having the internal battery makes this a breeze! Not to mention the feeling of power holding a bright bulb in your hand like some sort of superhero!For the price, it's amazing, the build quality is wonderful and having the buttons on the bulb itself is useful when you don't want to get the app out! They're pretty self explanatory for how to set them up, and have instructions on the side of the light for what the different button combos do. The app control through sidus link is fantastic, the most useful thing I've done is a faulty bulb flicker for horror films! This is normally a nightmare to do manually with incandescent bulbs, but it's a breeze with app control!Colour quality is super accurate too, really good skin tones at 3200K and accross the white light range! And the HSI mode is great for adding pops of colour to your frame too. I've been unable to make them flicker at any frame rate and shutter I've used so far too, so they're really great for both film and photography use!
