Excellent Leather , belts correct size

Fit for purpose

Works great we are using it at 41 ft. It doesn't sag much and when cloths are dry we just roll in the line.

Overall it’s a good belt, the only caveat is that the belt tend to get damaged in the part where the back loops are located.

I had seen this belt in a retail store recently and was impressed looking at it compared to all the other brands around it, carhartt, levis, browning and more that they sold there. I wouldn't have ever thought to myself that Columbia was a company that produced a great belt so I was fairly surprised when I checked it out and felt it was the nicest belt on the rack.The other main reason I wanted this is because I learned the hard way that a black dyed belt can indeed rub off on your jeans and stain them. This belt however has a nice natural leather back that doesn't look like it will transfer onto your jeans. I am referring to the Dark Brown version which I purchased, that's my old belt next to it in the photo which has lasted me many years now.

The stitching adds strength to slow down the leather from stretching out over time. Especially important for those of us who need a little bit of extra pressure on the belt to hold the pants up!

I wish they'd raised the price rather than destroying the quality.I've been very happy with this style belt for years. I just received my third and it is complete garbage. It is cracked and looks like it will pull apart while brand new. Appears to be a laminate of plastic and leather veneer. Continuing to wear my old worn one and sending this back! SHAME on Columbia.
