To the point and crisp.
This best thing about this book is that it is very exact in explaining everything. Only thing i didn't like is that the book is less descriptive which is justified considering that the book is made with exam perspective.

Must read for beginners
It is a good book for both beginner and intermediate technical people. The author has presented the examples intuitively, making it easier to remember the points.

Great book with In depth coverage for test .. Kindle ebook users : Keep an eye on the build id
Below is my original review. I was disappointed that the latest updates for the kindle ebook was not available to users. I was thinking this was something the Authors had to provide , but then HD corrected me and informed that it is Amazon who has to provide this update. So my suggestion to ebook customers - Keep an eye on the build id - if that has updated , you will either need to update the title from your digital content library or contact customer support to get that latest updated version . As far as the book goes - I have just started reading it . My initial feeling is that the Author really cares about his craft . His goal is not to just help us get the certification , but provide an overall understanding of the language. I appreciate this approach. Look forward to learning a lot from this book . I will be updating the reviews as I progress on my studies. ================== Original review ================= I got the kindle version - 8th Sep 2019 Build 1.6. The latest build is 1.13 (as of Dec 2019 ). I myself found lots of errors which I have reported on the enthu ware site . The least the author can do is provide the option to update the content so we get all fixes and look at the latest content. I have been checking in my digital library and no updates have been provided for this book. Feel disappointed. ================================================

Comprehensive guide to Java certification
After many years of Java programming I decided it was time to get my Java certification. I have worked through this book and have to say I was very pleased with it. Not only was it a good guide to what's in the part 1 exam I also learned a lot of things that maybe I should have already known or maybe had forgotten. The author has a very readable writing style and explains things very well. The book doesn't include practice quizes itself but obviously these are available elsewhere.
