OXO Good Grips Silicone, Everyday Spatula, Jam

I grabbed this OXO spoon spatula in the Oat color and honestly it's become the thing I reach for every single time I cook. The design just makes sense - it's part spoon, part spatula, and it does both jobs really well. The first thing I noticed was how good it feels in your hand. The grip is soft but not flimsy, and the whole thing has this solid, well-made feel to it. You can tell OXO put thought into this. The silicone is smooth and has a nice weight to it - not too heavy, not too light. It just feels like a quality tool. I use it for everything now. Stirring pasta sauce, scraping the last bit of batter out of a bowl, mixing up scrambled eggs in my nonstick pan without worrying about scratching it. The edges are flexible enough to get into corners of pots and bowls but stiff enough that it doesn't bend all over the place when you're actually cooking something thick. Cleanup is easy too - I just toss it in the dishwasher and it comes out looking brand new every time. No weird smells or oily residue like cheaper silicone utensils I've had before. The Oat color looks clean and fits in with my kitchen without standing out in a bad way. Small detail but I appreciate it. If I had to nitpick, it's a little smaller than some people might expect. It's not a big serving spoon - it's more of an everyday cooking tool. But for what it's meant to do, it's pretty much perfect. Highly recommend

I waited a few weeks to review. 8 purchased the OXO Good Grips Silicone, everyday scraper to evaluate different uses. This is my new go to. I have trigger/locking fingers and carpal tunnel. This thing fits comfortably in my hands. I have a Silicone addiction so I have tried just about every brand available including generic and high end. This is my absolute favorite for baking, cooking and disposing of leftovers. This thing scrapes almost every grain of sugar out of a bowl, container, pot, pan, you name it. I've only had a few weeks so I am unable to speak of durability at this time. However, should it last only a year, I'd purchase again.

Lovely product. But I have yet to be disappointed with an OXO product. I use this everyday in my teflon pans and it does not disappoint.
