Love it!
Absolutely perfect after some minor trimming-as to be expected on a custom build. Setting up endplay is a snap, however you may also need to shim your pulleys and water pump for clearance on some applications with a short pump.

Sturdy and looks good
Very well made aluminum timing cover. Mine was slightly thick and rubbed the front main cap so I had to machine off about 1/16” by the pan gasket area to get the cover to lay flat on the engine block. Other than that, great cover!

Real nice but ....
Definitely not cheap feeling or cheap looking the bottom seal is a pain to install since it dont have a lip to stop it from going all the way through. For the price it could have came with installation bolts (Stock bolts will not fit) and the real bummer was is that I cant use it being it (WILL NOT WORK WITH GEAR DRIVE TIMING SET)

Poor machining tolerance. QC????
The seal bore was .008" under seal diameter as well as being .0045" out of round.In the name of time, I had my local machine shop correct the seal bore diameter.The cover also interfered with the main bearing cap.I ground and filed .015" to obtain clearance to the main bearing cap.For the price this cover it should have been supplied with small diameter socket head fasteners which are required.Very disappointed with "Cloyes" lack of QC on this product. Its a very nice looking part, but required extra work to install.

Another well made Cloyes product, will make my SBC 350 look gr8, and will sort out camshaft end float.
