This hat is good value for money. Besides having an air vented strip near the top of the hat and a drawstring chin strap, it also has poppers to keep the sun/ insect flap secure to the hat. Poppers are more durable and effective than slide fasteners which I have seen advertised on similar priced sun hats. The flap is also a good length to be effective.However, like other hats this one also tends to be a bit on the small side. It is a good fit for men with small heads or women with small or medium sized heads. I am sure it would probably be too tight for men with heads which are larger than small-medium size.
