I LOVE THIS, highly recommend for any pet
I absolutely love this product! Really nice and affordable! I got the smallest size, and it was perfect for my cat and her newborn 6 kittens. I needed a safe secluded place for after my cat gave birth. She ended up giving birth in a cardboard box(as most cats prefer) then transferred her kittens over to the play pen. It was roomy enough for them all to lay comfortably. I laid pee pads down so there’s no mess, however, the material on the base of the product is very easy to clean. I appreciate the opening zipper on top because I’m able to view my cat from above. The little bowl it came with is so adorable(there’s even a small heart on it)! And the way the bowl can transform from being a flat water bowl and then 2 sizes larger for food just by plopping it up, is really convenient and cool! The material is great overall! And it folds and unfolds quickly and easily so it’s great for storing after my kittens are old enough to wander off. All in all, it’s a great product, more than I even expected and the price point is awesome, you honestly cannot beat it! I highly recommend!

A lifesaver - perfect for kittens!
About a month ago, we rescued a stray kitten with a limp (fractured shoulder) from under our car. We hadn't had any pets for a couple of years, so our house had no cat-proofed rooms where we could safely contain him, and his kitten-energy had him wanting to climb/jump despite his injury. I ordered the Large size of this 'playpen,' and it's been an absolute lifesaver. Being big and round, it's a bit awkward in terms of floor space, but it's big enough for his litter box, food/water, bedding, toys, and everything, with enough space in-between to be comfortable, so I don't feel guilty about leaving him in there overnight, or just whenever we can't keep an eye on him. He's got at least a little room to play, and can climb the walls now that his injury is mostly healed, but he pretty much can't jump or fall far enough to risk re-injuring himself. And it's obviously going to be a lifesaver yet again when we get him neutered, if he's ill, or any other time when we might need to restrict his physical activity (anybody that's had cats or kittens, you know how impossible that is!).Even though it's just wire forms, canvas, and mesh, it's holding up really well so far, despite him clawing at the mesh, climbing the walls, and treating the roof like a trampoline when he's not zipped inside, and the zipper's sturdy enough that he hasn't been able to work it open by himself. It was also a lot more wallet-friendly than a metal cage style kennel, and without the worry of him hurting himself on metal bars. The floor and inner side of the canvas walls have a slicker surface than the outside too, so they're easy to wipe clean.I've actually just ordered a Medium size as well, so he can have a safe zone in another room (where the Large one won't fit). I can definitely see us keeping one around as a litter box area when he's older too, because it's great for containing litter mess, and the other could continue to be just a safe bed and food area.

A very happy Kitten Farmer
This thing is awesome! I raise orphan kittens that are found without mom or if something has happened to mom (however now that I’m thinking about it- this would probably be perfect even with mom just maybe get a medium one for when the kittens get bigger?). When they’re between 1-3 weeks old- they live in a box. However at 3 weeks they’re too big & mobile for a box but they’re too small to let loose in my bathroom. This is the PERFECT solution. I got the small one which is perfect for kittens. It’s big enough for a heating pad to go in but they still have plenty of room to get off the heating pad if they’re hot. Its big enough for them to play and explore & if I have a particularly curious group that wants to scale the walls, then I can add the top to zip them in. It’s also big enough to put a small litter pan when they start to be 4-5 weeks. The zipper door is great for when I want to give them free roam of the bathroom from 5 weeks on. They can still get back into it for comfort. It’s also cheap enough that I can chunk it and buy a new one if something contagious breaks out like ringworm in-between litters. However it’s also very durable that it can be wiped down if someone soils on it. I cover the bottom with puppy pads but just in case someone gets poop on their paws and then climbs the sides- it wipes off really easy. Overall I am THRILLED with this purchase & it definitely helps this kitten farmer a lot. 😺 oh and it’s also SUPER portable. I have one for home and one for work. But if I have to bring them anywhere else then it’s superEasy to fold up and cart around. (photo includes 4 week old kittens)
