I searched for many fans.....came across this one.More money then I want to spend.But for such an amazing fan and great look the money was well worth it!The fan is very well built does not shake or vibrat.Puts out a lot of air/wind and is quite.The fan does not look cheap......it's very well built!It's mounted on a exterior wall under a soffit.And it also comes with a cover (that's cool)..The on and off switch comes with a mounting bracket for the wall.So over all I am very pleased with my purchase.(THANK YOU HYDROMIST FOR MAKING SUCH A GREAT LOOKING OUTSIDE FAN ! )

This fan is awesome. It is expensive but in my opinion it's worth it. The build quality is solid, the detents for adjusting the vertical angle are positive and hold well. They used an actual ball bearing for the oscillation mechanism instead of a bushing. The unit is built from sturdy materials and seems to be sealed very well. It's as quiet as a fan can be when it's moving this much air. We've had many fans over the years and this one is by far our favorite. Oscillation angle is about the same as most other fans, however it would be nice if it was a little wider angle, that's about the closest thing to a complaint we have about it.

Update: Cust Serv handled the replacement with no problems... very satisfied. Didn't get to use the new fan as much due to weather change... we'll see how this one holds up.---------------------------------Fan installed pretty easy, worked great at first... then w/in about 3 weeks, Speed 2 stopped oscillating. Now two months after purchase, the entire fan has stopped working. Trying to get it fixed/replaced via HydroMist and they are punting since I bought it via Amazon and the Amazon return window has closed. I need assistance in replacing this fan?? Any Ideas? Thank you!

Quality oscillating fan from fit to finish. I highly recommend this product for most applications, Patio gazeebo,garage yada yada. The is the real deal. Hydromist customer service is 5 stars. This was our second HydroMist fan - we use them on our outdoor deck when we have company. It is both attractive and powerful! It is not too loud, it puts out an unbelievable amount of air flow, and can be fitted for misting (if you so choose to). We mainly use it to keep cool and to keep the flies away (it works on both counts!). We have one mounted (takes minutes to mount) and one on a mobile stand (stand sold separately by HydroMist). Though you could probably find less expensive outdoor fans, you cannot find this level of quality for this price, and made in the USA. Everyone who comes to our home asks where we got it and mentions how impressed they are with the looks and function of it. I am a huge "fan" of this fan!

We purchased this fan after reading reviews about this fan and others, to replace a noisy fan we had purchased for far less money. it was definitely more quiet than the other and we used it all last summer. Purchased in July 2020, we turned it on in May 2021 and it was SO noisy we couldn't even hear ourselves talk while standing next to each other. We have now been using the one that was "noisy" last year and this one was purchased to replace, and it sounds "whisper quiet" compared to this one. One would expect that such an expensive, outdoor fan would stay in quiet, working order for more than 11 months.

Quality, easy to install great purchase. It was expensive, but it is worth it.
