What a great song book, love the old school songs so very much, well put together easy to read and follow along. Thank you.

There is a good selection of songs in this book, and the parts are written out as vocals separate from the piano part, which to me is very important. The green cover version of this book is more simple, putting the piano part and the vocal part together in the same line, which is not suitable for my choir purposes. So if you want a more robust piano part with separate vocal parts, make sure you buy this one with the blue cover. (Same with the next book, "More of The Best Praise & Worship Songs Ever").The piano part is easy enough without sounding like it's for a beginner. A moderately experienced accompaniest will be able to play these. I lead a contemporary church choir and we have used a few of these songs so far and plan to do more. I've added a few harmonies to some of the lines, but for the most part am pleased with the arrangements and parts (SAB).I liked this book enough that I purchased the next one (referenced above), but bought the one with the green cover without realizing that it would be significantly different. So I returned that to Amazon and purchased the one with the blue cover from another site since it wasn't available on Amazon. Recommended!

Good music and arrangements. Two negatives. The first, the book is too large to copy a page on a standard 8.5 x 11 copier. I play guitar, so turning pages while playing live is not practical. I copy the pages for myself so I can lay them out on the music stands. Unfortunately on a standard 8.5 x 11 copier (i.e. PC all in one printer), the page is too big and either cuts off the chords at the top or the base line at the bottom. This leads to the second negative, the music is spread out on too many pages. The music could be a little smaller font and a bit more condensed getting most songs down to 4 or 5 pages.

I wrongly bought the easy piano version that has the same blue cover like this one. It was far too easy, showing only melody line with letter name on the note. Chords are all basic chords. Had it returned and bought this one instead. This book is what I expect it to be. Original piano/keyboard accompaniment with guitar chords on top. The guitar chords has fret chart showing where to press the guitar strings, not just a chord name which I find really helpful for complex chords as I don't have to refer to guitar chord book to find out how to press the strings (my guitar skill is lower than piano). Have all the songs that I like and there are so many of them, it will take me quite a while to go through them all. Well worth the money.

My daughter absolutely loves this. She's been playing piano for 7 years and loves this book and gets into it almost every single day. She has heard and loved many of the songs in it before and has always been wishing she could play those songs. Now she does and even enjoys changing them up a bit.Some of the pieces may require a bit of practice before you can execute them properly but they shouldn't be too difficult for an intermediate pianist. Enjoy it and keep it. Even if you are a beginner, as long as you keep improving, most of the pieces in there should be reachable in time.

This has the actual music for lot of contemporary Christian songs. At this point, they are a couple of years old but they have the good songs from then. They have the music and the chords so the song can be played on the guitar either way or on the piano.
