Drive to drive copy operations extremely slow
I've a couple of these on different Windows servers (12-16 core 32GB enterprise SAS drives) and have not been impressed with the throughput. File copies run between 10-20MB/s, which is not even in the ballpark for the purported ratings - 30-40X slower. All machines run 8 SAS drives w/RAID 1, for a total of 4 volumes. For the $400 price tag, I expected a lot more.The only good thing I can say is that they are extremely reliable (been running 24/7 for several years - all 3 servers), but the drive-to-drive throughput is worse than a $20 controller.
