I was pretty skeptical towards buying one of these but our water is super harsh here in Sacramento and we cannot afford a water softener at this time, so this was the alternative.Installed as soon as it came in and already I'm satisfied with it. After rinsing the black carbon stuff out, my hands already felt cleaner than what I'm used to so i know it's working. An inexpensive, very effective way of getting cleaner water. My skin doesn't feel irritated at all, nor does my scalp. And that horrible smell of chlorine and other junk is gone. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for cleaner water and like me, just not able to afford a water softener at this time. Also, the Delta shower attachment used in the picture is rated for 2.0GPM and the pressure loss is hardly noticeable.Rated to last for 6 months, and in 6 months I should have a water softener by then anyways, and even then I will probably continue to use these filters. Installation was very easy. The canister is 4 3/4" long, so be sure it will work for your shower. Comes with thread tape, 2 rubber washers, easy instructions and neat little box. Great company, great product. I went ahead and bought 2 more for the rest of the house =)

I ordered this a month ago and I've been waiting to give it a review because I wanted it to be based on how it is actually working (which I couldn't say after 3-5 days of use).Our water at home is horrible: smells like chlorine, when dries leaves a pink-reddish residue all over the shower and of course on our bodies. Last time I went to my hair stylist she asked me if I started styling my hair every day because they were dry and ruined.So I bought this filter. It was very easy to install and with the suggestion I got in the email, it is not even leaking. First thing I noticed is that the water didn't smell like chlorine anymore. I cleaned the shower right after installing it and as it for today, no residue is visible on the walls. My skin feels softer and my hair are back to have bouncy curls, they are soft like they're never been before (I'm sure my stylist is gonna notice it next time I'll go in). The taste of the water is different too (obviously) and I can't be more happy about the results I've got.Yes, this filter works. I'm never going back.

Super easy to install, instructions were very clear. I attached to a Delta In2ition® Two-in-One shower head. I would recommend using the small white, plastic ring only on the female end that attaches to the wall arm. The directions say to use on both ends but with my particular shower head, it blocked water flow and the shower head already has a ring.As far as the filtering, I noticed right away. My hair feels softer, thoroughly rinsed and my skin feels cleaner. We have over-chlorinated city water that was causing problems for everyone in our house.Aesthetically, the filter matches the shower head perfectly. It adds about 5 inches in length to the shower arm but depending on your shower head, you can adjust to suit taller people. I gave four stars because I have not had the opportunity to take the filter apart to replace the inside filter. I played around with it a little bit and it looks like it will be an in-depth process. For the price of this filter and the fact that any improvement to our water quality is appreciated, I give it four stars.

The filter was very easy to install and works great! The customer service has also been amazing. Bryan (the owner) emailed after the item arrived to make sure that the installation went smoothly. When I mentioned that at first there were some drops of water coming out of a seem, he offered to send more thread tape for free. However that wasn't necessary since I realized I just didn't tighten the filter enough.Recently the water pressure dropped off because the filter was getting clogged after 4 months of use. I emailed Bryan to check if this was normal and he quickly responded letting me know that the decrease in pressure is a good indication that the filter needs to be changed. He offered to send me a replacement filter for free and that it will arrive in two days, since the filter is guaranteed for six month.I would have been happy to just order the filter, since the filter clogging up in four months just indicates that my water has a lot of contaminants which would have been in my shower water if not for the filter! I would highly recommend getting a shower filter and the Aqua Elegante filter looks great, is easy to install, works great plus has a great company with amazing customer service behind it. Don't look further, just buy it now!

I recieved this product fairly quickly and it is the first shower filter I have ever owned. It's simple to install but I had a bit of a problem doing so since the inner part of the filter that spirals and is twisted on to the shower arm, was a little bit chipped. That being said, I did get the filter attached and running smoothly, with no leakage. I told the seller my minor issue and he said he would look into it as I'm the first to report this (good on him for taking feedback positively!). As for how the filter actually functions, it does so pretty awesomely. The water feels smoother (if that makes sense haha) and it actually TASTE cleaner, which was a pleasant surprise. I find that I don't need to use as much lotion as before after showering now since my skin is less dry, and less shampoo is needed to make a nice lather. All in all, this is a pretty sweet filter. And at an awesome price too!

I started looking for a filter to soften water after noticing the difference after returning home after staying at my parents'. I realised that after washing my hair in my own apartment my hair was so much more difficult to manage - a haystack basically. I used to think that it was because my hair is so thick. Non the less I decided to look for a filter that could be installed in a rented apartment (i.e. without much hassle and destruction of property). I purchased Aqua Elegante Shower Filter and this is the best money I've spent on this year!It's very easy to install and comes with a sealer tape (!). There is absolutely no change in the water pressure (which is high).My hair feels so much softer and looks shinier. It also takes significantly less effort and time to blow dry and style it; and it doesn't feel greasy the very next day. My skin also feels healthier and less dry. I feel more refreshed after taking a shower now (I assume it is because I'm not covered in a layer of chlorine and hell knows what else anymore).I'm really happy with this product. Like REALLY. I highly recommend it.

I have been buying these shower filters for a few years, and am pleased with them. They remove the chlorine, and my bath towels don't smell like chlorine at the end of the week. The water flow is not reduced, and I enjoy the shower. Lots of other chemicals and minerals may also be removed by it. Most people don't use shower filters, but our skin absorbs water when we shower -- it isn't just the water that we drink that needs to be filtered.

Received the item today and I was impressed with the build quality, the unit itself has a small form factor and is very easy to install. I tried the unit straight away and I was pleasantly surprised to immediately notice that the chlorine smell had instantly gone away , and the water was no longer hard on the skin.Cons. NONEPros. Amazingly good at what it was designed for and so easy to change the filter. A BIG THANK YOU.
