Great little tool for the price
I used to use a Dremel tool all the time when I was a kid 25-30 years ago And they always cost a fortune back then. I really liked the fact that this came with the flex shaft attachment, and the variety of accessories that came with the tool for the price. I very much like that you’re able to adjust the speed of the motor. I cannot speak to its durability yet as I’ve only used it on a couple of projects, but it has worked very well. The flex shaft makes it very versatile for multiple different jobs. I personally got it for cleaning metal in a hard to reach spot under the hood of my car. It’s accorded Dremel so you don’t have to worry about the battery going dead. The only thing I noticed was the motor labored a little bit if you bent the flex shaft too far. Seems durable enough, and I especially liked the fact that it came with the part number and instructions for replacing the brushes in the motor.

Live saver ,imposible to bid and best value tool
This is a solid 5 star tool ,include the case and many accessorizes ,in my case it save me a lot of trouble and a lot a lot of money , I used to remove a woodruff key that was stuck on my outboard driveshaft and since you can control the speed and the cutting disk (1 1/4") in size was the perfect toll for this situation,It does get hot when you used at full speed so plan to take your time but for the cost (5 times less than a dremell) is impossible to ask for more .

good quality
This Rotary tool works great and cuts very well on mild steel. The shape is comfortable to hold on to and durable too. I have just purchased a bunch more 1/8 inch bits for wood engraving, i can't wait to try them all out !!!!!

Quality
Buying this tool opens another universe what one can cut, grind, polish, plus other actions not applicable with hand tools. Be ready. The tools quality (rpm, heat, speed) not diminished from D tools.

OKAY IF THE QUALITY CONTROL WERE UP TO PAR
I purchased this kit in order to work on a project when my other Dremel malfunctioned. So I got this kit hoping to work on my project and get it done to meet a deadline I had made for myself. Within a week, this WEN 2305 Rotary tool began having problems with the flex shaft. It would not hold any bits. The flex shaft seemed already stripped or simply would not tighten down. So I returned it for another replacement. The second kit had a great flex shaft but the tool itself had no reliable speed control. It would speed up or slow down by itself - and emit blue and silver sparks out the vent now and then. Hmmmm. Not good. So I called Amazon (thank goodness) and they sent me yet a third one and allowed me to pick the best of both. So I kept the good rotary tool from the third set (which also had a weak flex shaft), and I kept the flex shaft from the second kit, and sent the other kit back. Amazon allowed me to do this for all the trouble I had gone through and (bless them) Amazon also sped my replacement kits to me in just a couple days.It appears to me, the quality control of these items is very poor. Wherever they are made, they are not being checked. I would not doubt if many of these are defective and sellers just buy the whole lot of them and dump them in the marketplace where they can hopefully sell a few among the heaps of defective ones. I should not have to go through THREE kits just to find one working kit! But as usual, Amazon came to the rescue (again and again) and made sure I was satisfied.About the kit: Comes with some very small bits and some sanders. These were barely useful to me and I ended up buying my own stainless steel bits specific to my needs. The bits and sanders the kit comes with may work for really small projects like refining or working on small models or pieces of jewelry but that's about it. The motor of the device is strong and even working on a larger model that I am doing, it has more than enough power. It has a roller wheel that you can slowly adjust to increase the speed of the drill as well. Even on my project, sanding resins and refining cast forms, I only have to use a speed level of 1.5 to 2. I have never had to rev it up to the 3 setting. The flex shaft seems to be holding up so far. One thing you should be aware of is that you should not tighten down the collars on these too tight. You want to tighten them enough to keep the bits snug so they don't loosen and fly out but you don't want to tighten them so much that you strip the interior. I was very careful, having had my other Dremel for more than 20 years, and I still have it. Incidently, I ended up buying a replacement part for my Dremel so now I have both tools to work with.I would have given five stars for this item if I had received a fully functioning intact kit to begin with. I didn't expect miracles out of this less expensive device but I did expect quality control and an item that worked.

Good buy!!
So my dremel disappeared, I needed a replacement. Going through the depot site, and Amazon I came across ones tht were 100$ with the pen style attachment. I really don’t want to pay tht much. Then… This one.. 19$?? Delivered in a few hours?? I don’t need to put on pants?? Sign me UP!!! Showed up, little case solid build, worked perfectly. I’m very happy with this buy. Yes it’s not a name brand, if you use it everyday, maybe a more known product would be safer, but for me?? This is perfect. Also extremely economical!!
