The media could not be loaded. Update: the replacement had a slow leak at first but has been working perfectly since I changed the canister after I made the video. I am updating the stars for proactive customer service and a good product.This is the best tool in my bag for quickly correcting problem behavior in my dog (and my cat).I had the same problem as other reviewers. It worked a couple of times and then suddenly got stuck in the open position and leaked all the air out.I went to the company website to see if there were any suggestions for making adjustments to the nozzle and I noticed there was a message about the problem. It seems they have become aware of the issue and, if I email them proof of purchase (my Amazon invoice screenshot) they would send a new unit with two additional cartridges. AWESOME!They promptly sent a reply to email and sent the replacements within a day or two. The replacement arrived today. I used it once and the second time, it leaked again. This time, the leak is much slower and doesn’t empty the whole cartridge.I’m frustrated because there should be some way to adjust the nozzle to kee this from happening.I was very happy that they seemed to be being proactive about the problem but the product is still not right.I gave four stars instead of three because I believe they are trying and acting in good faith. And because I do love the idea of the product. I just wish it functioned correctly more often.

This product was awesome--at first... I used it to keep my neighbors dogs away from my cats-- and it worked beautifully... until it DIDN'T. only took 2 days I hadn't even used but 2 of the cylinders (they don't last long- btw but I didn't care, b/c it was a humane way of making the dogs "afraid" of the cats) when I installed the 3rd cylinder it all the air leaked out. I thought, ok, maybe i had it cross threaded, tried it again. was very careful... NOPE! The nozzle had come apart from where the cylider head attaches and that caused the air to leak out the of the cylider the very 1st time you did the slightest squeeze on the trigger. I bout this set and a set of 10 EXTRA CYLIDERS... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. too late for return/refund, but I don't want anyone else to waste their money. It would've been awesome, if it had worked longer than 2 days.

My nephew dog trainer suggested this when I adopted a 18 month old golden retriever.When they new dog got into it a bit with my Shiz tzu, the nephew advised I get this.When the golden got into it more seriously with my daughters lab mix, (I remembered to simply lift up the dog’s rear legs… good trick to stop a dog fight!) and I called my nephew who told me when the two dogs get together again, (the golden and lab), to have it handy.I used it. He stopped aggression immediately.I’ve used it about one cartridge worth to reinforce when needed… about 15 air squirts… now I just click the lock on and off and he remembers and is convinced.Used it to calm him down when my 18 month old and 3 year old grandchildren visited and the golden was jumpy at the door and at greeting. Perfect! He doesn’t knock them down now.Just remember to put it out of reach. Inthe face I’m sure it could do damage. Not for kids. Treat it seriously as it’s a powerful squirt of air.Convincer is a great tool! Highly recommend! ( comes with extra cartridges)

This was recommended by our dog trainer, and it’s very effective. If used correctly, no harm is caused to the dog at all. Point it at the dog’s shoulder. The only gripe is that the containers don’t hold much air, but it won’t take long for your dog to be convinced. When my dog sees it come out, she stops barking immediately. But my dog is a sweetheart, small 11-lb Coton de Tulear. I mean, dogs bark. That’s what they do. You just have to give them a break sometimes.

Awesome training tool! Cuts through almost all dogs barking, squeaking, and nuisance behavior. Also great to carry on the trail with you to deter off-leash dogs charging you.There was a quality issue a few years ago but Canine Innovations has remedied it and their new product is even better! Highly recommend.

I bought this product because my dog won’t leave the cat alone, it works I sprayed this product at her, and she stopped. However, on using it a second time it just started to leak air through the nozzle, I tried to get a new one, but was sent to a trouble shoot page, and non of the trouble shooting was for this product. I clicked that it didn’t help and was sent to another page that said to trouble shoot yourself. I couldn’t return the product hence the lower rating. I did trouble shoot it myself by taking it apart (not an easy task but do able) the little green button on top gets stuck pressed in hence the air leaking. So I pulled it out filed the edge that is was rubbing against and haven’t had an issue since. For the price I wish it would work without me having to fix it. But just so you know you won’t be able to return it or have it replaced if it isn’t working.

i’m Disappointed in this product. it came highly recommended by my neighbor, who used it because her dog trainer recommended it. she told me it worked great. i had high hopes that it would solve the barking of our young dogs and also the insane neighbors dog.first of all , i don’t know why no one mentions that this device, SPRAYS A LIQUID, even research squelches this fact. that took me by surprise, i didn’t like that at all, it was Not what i was expecting. this device did Startle our little dogs, initially, that wore off fast. did not affect the other dog in the least. i haven’t even had this device for a week and i am so disappointed, that i am going to RETURN IT. what a Total Disappointment. i’m embarassed that i even spent $53 bucks for this Charlatan Product. Do Not Buy it. that is all
