Easy To Love Introducing Linda Lawson Tracks

This Cd is fantastic. The musicians and the song selection are great and Ms. Lawson's voice is a perfect fit for west coast jazz.. The first twelve songs are from the album, " Introducing Linda Lawson" with the Marty Paich Orchestra. Recorded in 1960. The other four songs were recorded with The Henry Mancini Orchestra in 1957. The re-mastering is very good. In the early '60's, Ms. Lawson concentrated on her acting career over recording. So enjoy what is available.

What a voice! It's too bad that Linda did not record more; she has a sultry wonderful delivery. Great for a relaxing romantic evening!

名盤プラス、シングル盤4曲がとてもいいです。アナログ盤も持っています（リイシュー盤ですけど）がそれはCDを聴く時の観賞用？です。曲はヴォーカルに詳しい人ならおなじみのものばかりのようです。古き良き時代のミュージカルの曲、オケの演奏も素晴らしいです。ボーナストラックのmore than neverなどサンバカンソンのようです。ジョビンもこういったアメリカの曲を聴いていたんでしょうね。

On my wish list for at least one year ( the price was too high for me) on AMAZON USA I was able to obtain it on AMAZON Canada ffor 75% less! Saw Linda Lawson on a Peter Gunn episode (as guest star and songstress). I saw the Mancini connection on the CD. I have both Linda and Lola Albright on disc and like the Mancini Touch with them. It is also nice to have reliable Marty Paich directing the one album represented on the disc Always nice to have buying options from AMAZON! FRESH.SOUND did a good job with the audio and instert on the disc.

Amazing Linda Lawson is not better known. Apart from being an actress she was a full-fledged jazz singer with a style somewhat like Mel Tormé - and the CD hugely benefits from arrangements by the wonderful Marty Paich. Once heard, you can identify her immediately. Her voice is warm and tender, and she sings in tune! The very best track is in my opinion Where Flamingos Fly.
