EDITED TO 5 STARS: I retract my review below; turns out the issue was not the product itself, but my laptop. I was told by my company's IT team it had been updated with all the latest drivers, but it turned out that wasn't correct. After updating the drivers and cleaning up some junk files, the docking station is working as perfectly as before. It does all I need it to do, which is why I give it 5 stars. I'm also giving it 5 stars because of the exceptional service I received from the seller/manufacturer, who offered me a full refund when I originally thought the product failed. No refund necessary now!I got this docking station in late February and it has already stopped working. It's past the 30-day window so I can't return it. It was used to connect my work laptop to my personal home computer monitors, so I used this only on my WFH days which were Monday and Friday. That means it was used for only about 20 or so working days before it stopped. Very disappointing product.

When I first plugged it in, I thought I had been scammed, because it didn't work. What actually happened though, was my computer had too many things plugged into it and it was fighting to find a free IRQ (interrupt) for the USB-C. After a few days of searching, the computer apparently decided on one to use and "ding" it connected and began to work just fine. Yeah, I have 3 monitors and a bunch of other USBs connected, so it's no wonder it had problems. Not the company's fault by any means.Actually, it works quite well. SD cards work well, both micro and standard size. My monitors are maxed out for my hardware, so haven't tested the HDMI yet, but the USBs work. All in all, I am happy with it. I hope you are too. That's my two cents worth.

Purchased for my Dell XPS 13 laptop. Is this as good as an OEM docking station, absolutely not. But for the price I paid, I have no complaints. Technically, I would not consider this a docking station as there is no actual power supply.Very small form factor. I have not had any issues with any of the connections, except when I was messing around with the VGA connection. No big deal. Who actually uses VGA these days? Both HDMI's work great. However, on one, you can only mirror the laptop screen and not extend it. In other words, I was unable to create three separate screens (laptop and two HDMI screens). That's fine, it wasn't my intention to do so. I would think this may have more to do with the graphics card in the laptop.I do have two issues as follows:1.) Runs very warm, almost hot. Since there is no heat sink or any other type of cooling mechanism, I worry about longevity.2.) I do wish the usb c cable was a bit longer. It is only about 6 inches, so this must be adjacent to the laptop. I would prefer for it to be more out of the way. I may try to couple it with another USB C cable to see if I can extended it.Other than that, I like it.

I have used this for a few months at this point and I would not recommend someone this product. It is better to just save up some extra cash and buy a more expensive, but functionable dock. Other than the occasional glitching due to the wire moving, the dock does stay connected. It does get hot, fast. Which also then makes my computer hot. My main issue is the lack of 4k it promoted. I cannot get the dock to display 4k on both my monitors. I have tried everything on my end to see if I was the problem. After using other docks and computers with this dock, I can definitely say that the problem lies in the dock itself. After months of just trying to cope with the resolution, I am going to stop trying to convince myself this was actually a good purchase and buy another dock. I normally don't leave bad reviews, but this dock was just very disappointing.

Works good, darn good ….about the only port I haven’t used is the VGA ….. i’m giving it 5 stars because it just works ….. like an iPhone, it just works …..You need to know it is fairly heavy for a portable hub ……. The attached usb-c cord is ….. is …..long enough for the hub to sit on the desk while plugged in …… the finish is kind of meh …… the paint if that’s what you call it is starting to fade and wear off after 6 months use …… quality in manufacturing? ….. the USB-C ports are not centered with each other …… big deal? ….. not really …….Great product all around……. Would recommend it for any iPad Pro owner …… it’s a must have …..

I have the 14 port device with multiple HDMI connections. Works great for supporting multiple monitors for a laptop. Currently having issues with multiple devices using it to power items like hard drives or cameras without over heating and dropping devices. Have not found a solution yet to resolve the issue. Does come with a short cable build in (maybe 5") to connect to your PC/Laptop so I purchase and extension (M/F USB C) to allow for me to have the hub further from my PC. Need to work with tech support to see if I can resolve the overheating a device dropping issue. Currently if I plug my SSD or Portable Hard Drive into it my laptop will not recognize the devices, but if I plug the SSD or Portable Hard Drive directly into the PC they work fine. Can get one up and running if persistent but plugging more then one appears to cause the hub to over heat and stop functioning properly. Not sure I would purchase this again. I will update this post if I get a resolution determined.

Compact Docking Station used it for my work/home laptop.Since it’s so easy to just pick-up and go compared to work Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C dock.Two things it doesn’t come with a power cord and it gets a bit warm when processing video feed. However ot great that it can do HDMI/USB-C/VGA (which is great cause Some older monitors can be used as secondary screen for low graphic intensive apps email etc …)

Muy buen producto, compacto y de buena calidad. Lo tuve que devolver porque mi conector usb-c no es thunderbolt y eso hace que el hdmi y vga no funcionaran.
