Not universal
These aren’t universally fitted for all guitars, but with a small bit of adjustments it fits and works really well.

Great product for the price!
Fantastic product! Was just what I was looking for. My very old, worn, loved and eventually dusty guitar had taken a fall and one of the machine tuning heads had broken off. I had planned to just change out that single tuning head (which matched perfectly to my older versions), but once I put in one new one I realized how much better these were and exchanged them all. Please note that I am clearly not a guitar expert and do not truly know how they hold up against competitors, but they work just great for me.I wish I had gotten a photo before I took off the old strings and machine tuning heads but just imagine what the strings and machine tuning heads on the before image looked like.

OK cheap tuner
They're cheap tuners. I bought them to replace the tuners on an old Harmony Stella guitar. Because I think of the guitar as a $12.95 instrument I can't bring myself to spend a lot on the tuners. These work OK. I had to ream out the holes in the peg head to install them but it wasn't a big deal. The gearing is relatively smooth and positive. If I had wanted to splurge I would have gotten some low end Kluson like tuners but these do the job.

Very easy to install using a 3/8" drill bit for the ...
Bought these for a cigar box guitar project. Very easy to install using a 3/8" drill bit for the hole and a 1/16" for the screw hole. Just pushed the post through the hole, put on a washer, and tighten the ferrules. The ferrules are my only complaint as they did not tighten smoothly (as an FYI they might not go tighten all the way to the washer due to the thickness of the wood you are using which was 15 minutes of frustration for me). Another frustration was the labeling of the sides weren't clear. The screw hole should be pointed towards the nut to ensure you have the tuners on the correct side.

Tight is right.
Bought these for a Ukulele build, didn't need 6 but was cheaper then the Ukulele 4 pack. These are well made for the price. They are not up the quality of name brand but for a fraction of the price they are excellent. They are mostly metal, all except for the actual turning buttons which are chrome plated plastic. The movement is smooth, with no binding or rough spots. The chrome finish is bright with no blemishes. The attachment screws are also of a good quality. I would expect these to last for the life of my Ukulele.

Please With These Pegs
My mother-in-law bought a guitar-shaped object for my young son to play around with. I figured it he's going to have a "guitar," it might as well be in tune, and shockingly enough, the tuning pegs on this $6 piece of junk would not hold the torque of the strings. I bought these pegs to replace those on the toy. There was some drilling required, although I'm sure that would not have been the case on a real guitar. The pegs hold the strings in tune well as far as I can tell, but they didn't make my son's guitar-shaped piece of trash play in better.

Function is good form was different than pictured
The only issue i have with the ones i received was that the actual shape of the tuner knob was not as pictured.i’ve shared a photo of what i received which doesn’t match my current tuners. otherwise thy work fine.

Great Bang for the Buck!
Replaced machine head off of cheap guitar with the Neewer 6 Pieces Sliver Acoustic Guitar Machine Heads Knobs. So far I am impressed with the quality. They keep the strings almost perfectly tuned even after several days of not playing the guitar, and at the same time the pegs are not stiff when tuning. Arrives in great packaging which keeps the various pieces organized. I would purchase again if I needed new pegs but get the feeling these will last a few years.

Used in Cigar Box Guitar
I tried to use these pegs for my DIY cigar box guitar. They seem to work great and I could wind the guitar string tight through the pegs no problem and tune it to play notes. My plans for using my DGD tuned guitar fell through because I botched the string height of the nut and the strings hit the box when you play a note using the frets. Because of this, I have no idea if the guitar stays in tune. The width of the hole you need to go through the guitar head is a metric measurement. I would use these tuners again.

great for budget guitar
Was given an old Kay in bad condition, missing tuner parts. Put these on and am happy with performance, look, and price. NB: Neewer should add 1 schematic view like others do, so customers will know if they will fit or if drilling is required; I had to drill bigger holes for the tuner bases. The press-in ferrules are smaller, so don't drill all the way through the headstock! The string post is a bit loose in the ferrule hole. Tuning is stable, but gears sometimes skip a bit. Good enough for this guitar! would buy again
