IWC designed our new SMC (Side Mount Cantilevered) Scout Light MOUNT-N-SLOT's with AMBI mounting capability, so you can place the tail cap of the M300A & M600C Scout weaponlight in either the 1:00 or 11:00 position on your weapon for activation by your support hand thumb. The SMC places the bezel of the light above the barrel and in front of the front sight base to eliminate all shadows, improving your ability to confirm the threat in no-light situations. SMC Scout Light MOUNT-N-SLOT attaches to the forward slot on the side of ANY and ALL Magpul M.O.E. and Bushmaster ACR Basic Configuration hand guard. Product Specifications: Weighs only 1.27 Ounces. CNC Machined from Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum and Black Type III Mil-Spec Anodized finish. Includes all mounting hardware, tools and instructions for an easy install. Great product but needed a light ring to accent most lights
Super good product. I like how this is perfect for any weapon light application. I use it on a Magpul MOE hand guard. You’ll need a light ring if you don’t have a Surefire or streamlight that screws directly into the slots.

Solid mount that can hold 1 inch diameter flashlights in it securely. I personally used a P2X fury surefire light with it on my AR and it had held up well.
