The Demiurge would be proud...
As with all the Gnostics, these journals are a fascinating compendium, but man, they are in need of a professional editor, as grammar and spelling errors SUCK and really take away from the idea that I am about to receive some "earth-shattering," subversive enlightenment, and instead give me the feeling that I am reading some sophomorish drivel, written by folks who really, really, wanna sound smart and enlightened to occult matters, but in reality, are really just grown up D&D players that want to reject reality as they've experienced it, and as such, claim to have found true gnosis (knowledge) of how things "really" are...but just can't spell or conjugate verbs correctly. But, that's ok; I know what I just said may be harsh, but I still find this type of content interesting, and for that, it's worth the price of admission.

Contemporary Spirituality from a Gnostic Perspective
For readers with at least a fledgling knowledge of Gnosticism and Hermeticism, here is a feast. This is the fifth issue of the excellent Irish journal "The Gnostic." I look forward to every issue -- very stimulating (and entertaining) reading.

Superb!!
As always a thought provoking collection of articles, with a depth and scholarship that set it well apart from the usual new age pap that saturates the market.

An Outstanding Gnostic Journal.
I have purchased, read and reread, all 5 issues of this occasional journal issued to date ( of this review Dec 13 ). Physically the journal is produced to a very hight quality and its size allows for ease of reading. Illustrated card covers with numerous illustrations throughout. For me the most impressive feature in the breath and diversity of the voices enclosed ... the Gnostic field is a broad church, and this journal makes room for many avenues, some of which are the less trodden. A bonus for me personally is to see it is of Irish origin. I hope the bridge to the next issue is not too long !.

Worthy successor to Gnosis Magazine, now sadly defunct.
This is a lively and informative journal with good quality contemporary contributors. The journal is an occasional publication and has made 5 issues over the years since it first appeared in 2009. They always leave the readership wanting more. The Gnostic issue number 6 has been announced for 2013, and it is very much to be hoped that it hits the stands before Christmas or even Yule..
