This is quality stuff! It'll pay for itself from all the money you could save. I throw my single bills and small cash amounts i dont need and just wait for it to collect. Its a GREAT way to save money. They also have an extremely kind and generous customer service team i've had a defective safe and they replaced it no questions asked. Amazing company with a great product and for the price theres nothing beating it

Great little safe. The walls that make up the safe are nice and thick and the hinge is heavy duty as well. Keep in mind that this is a great little safe for what it is - a drop safe. Drop safes are not meant to keep out would-be thieves on a long-term basis. Its meant to secure items, usually money, for brief periods until they are picked up and brought somewhere else (usually a larger and more secure safe). so again, I base this review on the Mesa MUC1K being exactly that - a good drop safe.My one small complaint is that there isn't a way to mount it from the top unless you drill your own holes and fabricate something. To me, that is the most logical place to mount something like this, not from the bottom. This is why I took away one star. Other than that small detail, it's a good drop safe for the money

very disappointed, cheap keys and difficult to open

Great safe for what we needed it for. Wife and I both have a key, and they are both required to enter the safe. Exactly what we needed.
