Wanted to like it but it's Junk.Blades are dull and some rust on them. Had to put the edge on it to try.Does not cutting an apple through, apple doesn't even open. Center circular piece is not sharpened at all, sticking out from the rest of blades by about 1/8" and prevent other pieces to cut through.Too much efforts to remove parts and pieces. Worthless.AVOID it, look for something else.

It works as it should, however, the "blades" are very thick and not actually sharp. It does take signficant effort to get it through an apple for me. Washes up well and came with some handy cleaning tools.If you're super strong, it's great. If you're a bit weaker, like me, then it requires a lot of effort.

The slicer is easy to use and works very well but sometimes the bottom of the slices will stick to the core more a problem of the shape of the apple but after all a very minor problem. I still recommend this model over the many I've used over the years. Great for making pies and smoothies.

This cutter is nice and heavy but doesn’t cut. I really wanted to like it. I tried cutting 3 different apples. I could get even a 1/4 through them with push will all my weight. Then the apples were stuck on the blades. I cut my finger trying to pry the apple off. I had a super cheap cutter that broken but cut better then this one. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It is easy to use and clean. It is really sturdy and unlike the plastic ones it seems like it will last a long long time. It also comes with two little gifts: a vegetable peeler who+h works great and a brush to clean the slicer. Very happy customer!

I thought I would spend a little extra in a apple slicer sense my husband cut his finger on a cheep one...this one is very sturdy and it came with the best peeler I have ever owned and a cleaner to clean the slicer better so bonus..

After breaking several apple slicers that were made from both metal and plastic, I found this little gem on Amazon. It is fantastic!!! Not only does it cut smaller slices than other devices ( a plus for baking), it's a little powerhouse with handles. If you slice apples on a regular to semi-regular basis, buy this.

As users stated extremely sharp. Cutting blades stick out past the device. Very easy to cut your finger on I have twice within a couple weeks. You have to use a cutting board to not scratch countertop due to blades. Would not recommend.
