Our hammy loved it. It does not leak and it stays upright. Does not make any noise. Assembly is simple. It fits well in the cage and the size is just right. One refill would last for approximately 3-4 days.

This is a little pricey but overall I'd say it's worth it. I read through the reviews and some people complained of leaks. I was looking for one that didn't do that because my previous one was leaking. I took the chance and so far it's been great for my hamster. It doesn't leak at all and it's very easy to keep clean and refill. I barely hear my little guy drinking from it so there's minimum noise level! It fits overall pretty well in his cage.

I have 2 of these! One for my husband’s robo hamster and one for my son’s gerbils. Neither of them leak and they work well. I have not had any issues with them toppling over either. I highly recommend.

I should have researched water bottles more thoroughly. Niteangel brand is the go to for your hamster needs. $15 for a water bottle is a bit much. It doesn’t seem to always work. I have to poke the little ball with my finger sometimes to get the water flow going again. I’ve added a water dish to ensure my hammy stays hydrated. I do like that the height is adjustable. I would have probably gone with something different if I wasn’t trying to quickly set up a habitat.

I read all the reviews and still decided to purchase this water bottle set, regardless of the bad comments. I trusted the NiteAngel brand as I've previously purchased many of their products with no issues. The 1st order I received was covered in fuzzy mold! They sent a replacement, but I had to drive over to the ups store to send the moldy one back. Unfortunately the replacement ( 2nd bottle) is not working! I tried using only one metal ball, and even took the clear plastic piece located inside the nozzle out like others recommended, still nothing! I didn't overfill it with water and I tried shaking it to get the bubbles out like others mentioned...nothing worked! My hamster could've died if I was gone away & depended on this item as I should be able to!! I would like another replacement! I shouldn't have to keep driving up to the ups store to ship the item back multiple times! It should work the 1st time! I'm not sure if this was a defective product or not. I understand there's defects occasionally, but both times I've had issues!?? I wouldn't recommend this product! This water bottle set is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but possibly deadly for your hamster/pet!! **I will update my review if this order gets fixed and the product works correctly! UPDATE: I wrote my review and the seller responded within 24hrs! I replied back to their message they sent, and they responded back within minutes to make sure I was a happy customer. They seem to genuinely care about their customers & I appreciate that. They're sending me a new bottle out today, with no hassle of returning the defective product again. That's pretty good customer service! I'm extremely happy with how quick they responded & how they truly cared. I will gladly continue to purchase items through this company!

Okay so I will also say, I don't ever leave reviews, especially bad ones... but the other negative reviews here are (in my experience) truthful, and I wish I read them prior to trusting this water bottle. As a preface, I have many NiteAngel products in my gerbils enclosure, and love them all, except this one. I recently redesigned my 2 gerbil boys enclosure, and with my new setup, my previous glass water bottle that hung off the top of the enclosure didn't work anymore. Being a big fan of NiteAngel's other products, I didn't hesitate to order this water bottle that came on a stand. So the stand is great. No complaints there, but the water bottle itself is crap. Upon unboxing, I noticed the cheap plastic bottle (guess I didn't read that it wasn't glass). However they didn't chew on it so I didn't care so much that it was plastic. I immediately noticed, however, that the ball in the water dispenser seemed cheap and not as heavy as others I've used in the past. After filling with water and setting up, I tested it and I did get water on my finger, though not as much as the glass bottle. I still decided to use this water bottle, and since I was worried about it's effectivity... I checked that it was working every day. I got water on my fingers every morning, but still, not as much as with my previous water bottle. Fast forward 1 week later. I come home from work and check on my 2 gerbils as usual, and found them both dead. No signs of illness or infections, and the only change I made was this cheap excuse for a safe water bottle. Yes, there are plenty of great reviews for this water bottle... I mean, the stand IS nice. But do yourself (and your small animals) a favor, and listen to those of us that have deceased pets after trusting this product. Even with checking the product daily, it still wasn't sufficient enough to keep my gerbils from getting dehydrated.

Great water bottle, great quality and adjustable height.

I have a dwarf hamster. I bought this to use as a secondary water source to my Hams water bowl. It comes well packaged and disassembled but putting it together is easy and you should be able to do it with no instructions. I like the design, it's wooden and height adjustable so you can adjust it to the needs of your hamster sliding the holder up or down by loosening then tightening the wing nut on the back of the stand. It's a good size, shown next to the bucatstate Large ceramic hide. Works as intended. Seems easy to keep clean although there's a small plastic pipe in the spout I'm not sure how hard that will be to clean but time will tell. I had a much smaller one than this before and this is much better. Will definitely buy again if I needed more in future. Pleased with this purchase.

While I love the niteangel brand, I'm not a fan of the wooden water bottle as it has gone moldy on the bottom of the stand after 5ish months 😪
