I LOVE the Wild Planet Tuna better than any brand. Such high quality! Also, there was NO salt added. It’s better without added salt. Top quality, and I don’t buy grocery store tuna anymore. There’s no comparison in taste!

This is the best tuna! And no salt added? Wow, I'm shocked and thrilled a tuna tastes so good without added salt. (the store name brand tuna with reduced salt is awful). This is a great value, cheaper than what I pay for it in the stores.

I've ordered this product many times and find this to be my favorite tuna for low sodium restrictions. Many people like the albacore for the mild flavor, but I've tried both, and prefer the skipjack for it's stronger flavor. It's especially good for those that can't have any added salt. Another good thing about this particular brand is they do not pack it in water, but simply process the raw tuna in the cans, where it produces its own minimal broth. Nothing wasted, no need to drain. Once I open the can, I just break up the tuna and the juice is reabsorbed. Of course it's a bit pricier than the average grocery store tuna, but watching the case price, I find it quite frequently cheaper than it can be purchased in the stores. Buying by the case, I've never had an issue with dented cans, or expired product. Definitely recommend.

this is very good product for anyone worried about mercury ingestion

This tuna is fairly unappetizing. It is a mushy, smelly glob in a can. In addition, it is supposed to be 5 ounces and the can is half empty. I’m not sure I will even let my cats eat this stuff. It wasn’t cheap either. There is nothing redeeming about this tuna! I opened a second can and it was the same way. Despite representations about quality, it is quite poor quality. I’ve bought this brand in the past and it was good quality. Not anymore!
