Works Great
This is a nice post and seems to be very sturdy, more so than the gas filled ones. Although it is still a class B use, it intergrates with the existing seat base and also locks. The gas filled post does neither although the adjustment is easier.

Fit decent quality. The base barely fit my Lund seat even though it is the original equipment. The seat adjusts easily and securely. I'm waiting to see how the top part of the stem holds up when my Italian beef loving fishing buddy leans back...hope it holds!

Correct pedestal for what I needed.
Pedestal seems to be well built. Wrong color seat was sent so won't know the sturdiness until I get the correct one sent and mounted to the pedestal.

Nice pedestal but no gas lift.
I bought this pedestal for the driver seat of our Ebbtide Mystique 2300, to raise the driver seat when docking, in order to see better. I like the pedestal - but it's a bit difficult to raise the seat because there is no lift in it.I went ahead and also bought the Springfield Power Pedestal for the driver seat, and I'll move this over to the passenger seat.

Good quality product
This is now my second Springfield pedestal, they are of good quality. I purchased the Springfield seat and base as well. Price was reasonable.
