Do these straps allow doors to stay open and prevent doors from swinging back to close on occupants before driver and passenger can exit vehicle?

It's just a cable cover, how it swings in and out always depends on wind and angle of vehicle. It's basically to keep the door from swinging out and hitting the front quarter panel.

Can these be used on the front doors as well as the rear doors. I have the 4 door unlimited Sahara.

I put one on the driver's door and liked it so much, ended up putting it on the passenger side. I would assume all of the cable lengths are the same on all four doors. There's plenty of extra length in the straps. I also have the Sahara Unlimited.

Is there 2 or 4 straps?

There is 2 straps.. very sturdy and strong. Only needed 1 so got an extra one.

Excellent product!

So easy to change these. Well built and sturdy and the zip on design made installation a breeze. Will definitely but these again compared to absurd dealer replacement. I have the old ones cut off with a knife and these ones zipped on in seconds. Awesome product.

Well made and easy to use!

Darn straps were just worn out, worried about damaging the electrical wires inside. Figured this task could be a chore, but with these zippered straps, the job was easy! Remove 2 torx screws, slip the strap off the hook, pull the old strap out of the door, and carefully cut off the old strap with a reasonably sharp scissors. New strap slips right on, zip it up, reattached the clamp and tuck the strap into the door. Easy-peasy!
