I've had opportunities to enjoy prime speakers from other brands
These floorstanding speakers offer spacious, detailed sound and powerful bass. I've had opportunities to enjoy prime speakers from other brands, and these speakers are among the best. The wireless set-up was super easy, and it is simple plug-and-play. But, for those who consider purchasing the Reference Premiere HD Wireless set must know this. This system does not require a home network to connect to speakers. The HD control center creates its own network (WYSA protocol) to establish wireless connection to Klipsch Reference Premiere HD speakers. The problem is this system can conflict with devices that runs at 2.4GHZ in its close vicinity. Most Wi-Fi routers run at 2.4GHZ. Bluetooth devices run at 2.4GHZ. Even car alarms and microwave ovens emit signals in the 2.4GHZ band. So, what happens when the system crashes is that the HD control center drops connection to its speaker or speakers, and basically you have to re-install the whole system. That only takes a few minutes, but this crash can occur multiple times a day depending on where you live and where in your home this system is set up. If you live in an urban environment where there is a neighbor above you, below you, or immediately next you, chances are that you will have this wireless stability issue at some point regardless of how you set it up in your home. This is very annoying, and I found it deceitful that Klipsch does not disclose restrictions on where this system can be placed to ensure reliable performance. Here is an official response from Klipsch: [unless you remove other devices that run at 2.4GHZ] ...you will most likely continue to have problems with it.If I didn't care about these speakers at all (I really like them), I wouldn't have spent time writing this review. It's just very unfortunate that the system's wireless connection can be so unstable.

Purchased 2 of these towers, 7 other HD Wireless Speakers, the hub and 2 Subwoofers from Klipsch
As you can see, I'm a verified buyer. I purchased 2 RP-440WF HD Wireless Floor Standing Speakers along with 1 RP-440WC HD Wireless Center Channel Speaker, 4 RP-140WM HD Wireless Bookshelf Speakers, 2 RP-110WSW HD Wireless Subwoofers and the Klipsch RP-Hub1 HD Control Center for a full 7.2 Surround Sound Setup.Just a little back ground on myself. I move around every 2 - 4 years. I have a love for watching movies at home because of the general lack of manners of those watching movies at the theaters. So as soon as I could afford to ditch the typical Bose Surround Sound System back in 2003, I got a 5.1 HM (Home Theater) using some Bowers & Wilkins 6 Series speakers, an 5 Channel Amp and a Surround Sound Processor, along with about a 100 feet of speaker cable. The first annoyance is trying to run, tuck and hide the speaker wire in homes that I rented. Each home had it's own quirks, sometimes exposing speaker wire. I tried to cover it with carpet but I could clearly see the bulge in the carpet from the speaker wires. The other annoying thing was that some of the homes that I rented didn't allow me to place the speakers in the optimal positions. Another annoyance is that a lot of time and effort was spent on breaking down my HT before the movers touched it and then having to set it back up in the new rental home.Fast forward to 2013 and a USA brand called Aperion Audio came out with a 5.1 Surround Sound 4T Home Theater that could be upgraded to 7.1, had a wireless hub that was small in size (similar to the Klipsch RP-Hub1 HD Control Center) and could be calibrated using a technology similar to sonar. I naturally upgraded to the 7.1 Surround Sound set of speakers AND I upgraded the side surrounds to the towers because I enjoyed listening to SACD's on my Oppo players. However, that 7.1 Aperion set of wireless speakers set me back $4,000. I sold off my B&W speakers, my amp and surround sound processor along with the 100 feet of speaker wire. So my total investment was around $600.The sound quality was excellent. I had no complaints. But the bass was a bit lacking. I couldn't turn the 8" wireless subwoofer up too much or else it was clap on scenes from Tron, War of the Worlds, LOTR's, etc. Fast forward to CES 2016 where Klipsch showcased their HD Wireless Surround Sound Speakers. When I found out that 2 subwoofers could be connected, I immediately called my co-worker that asked me to call him first if I ever wanted to sell my Aperion 7.1 Surround Sound System. I purchased the entire 7.2 Klipsch HD Wireless Surround Sound Speaker system early 2017.I couldn't be happier. The setup is easier in that it's okay if you placed a plant, lamp or furniture in the way of the speakers since the Aperion speakers used sonar to calibrate the delay, etc. Yes, the Klipsch doesn't have that, you have to manually set it which is a small price to pay since there's no 60lbs amp or 100 feel of speaker wire that I have to route. It's also easier to assign each speaker, just press the button on the back and each speaker position will light up. Just stop when the light lands on the current position of the speaker and you're done. It's never gave me issues with connecting either. I literally have zero complaints. The ONLY improvement would be somehow getting this to do a Dolby Atoms and DTS X but based on the research that I've done, the wireless hub can only support 7 surround sound speakers and 2 subwoofers. They would need to physically change out the Klipsch RP-1 Hub with another hub that can support 2 extra channels for the ceiling (aiming) speakers.I have absolutely no regrets on purchasing this system. The speakers can crank, the bass will hit, there's never an issue with connectivity and the ease of setup is greatly appreciated. I look forward to what the future holds in integrating Dolby Atmos speakers but as of right now, I'm 100% fine with my Klipsch 7.2 HD Wireless Surround Sound System.

This is SPECTACULAR! NO way you tell it is wireless
FANTASTIC! Replaced a 70 pound Marantz AVR, two 122 pound each Definitive Technology powered Towers, and a 45 pound DT Center channel with two 440WF towers, the WC center, and the HUB. The sound is simply spectacular. The DT Towers have two 10" subwoofers built in, and these rival it. The Hub is the size of a book, tiny, and is really just a very slick pre-amp. I paired the Hub to my Tivo Slide Remote so only need one remote to operate all. This is a GREAT system. And NO WIRES! NO way you tell it is wireless.

They constantly disconnect, very frustrating.
I just want to let ppl know, these have been the WORST! speaker buy I have ever made. The speaker quality is top notch. But as other users have said be aware of the daily need to unplug and replug in the hub and speakers to get them working again i mean multiple times a day some days, at least once every day. This is definitely not ok from a brand like Klipsch. I absolutely wish I never bought these speakers in the first place, but now past return date and stuck with them. Major bummer.
