Bought these LED backlights for my gaming computer/monitor. Had originally purchased a different set to attach to my monitor that I had major issues with getting them to bend around the corners of my monitor without cracking the printed circuit soldered joint/connections. Basically, it did not work. Found these and they were just what I was looking for.... you can cut these strips down to size if needed and splice two strips together for a perfectly clean professional look. You really get a lot in the box that it comes in to complete hooking these up, what you get is very generous indeed and you will use every single item as needed. As noted, I bought these for my monitor which is a 24-inch monitor, so I bought the 14" - 34 " inch TV/monitor size. The four strips that comes with this package are about 20 inches long each strip. The top and bottom part of my monitor I did not need to cut the strips, the two sides I had to cut the strips down to 12 inches. With the three curve connectors for attaching the LED strips, I guess one can fit this package on a 34”-inch monitor. The curve connectors are long, and you do need to tie wrap them in a bundle with the flex tie that is also provided. The adhesive backs to the curve connectors are junk, they do not stick to well and even self-unstick themselves.Not a big issue. Had no other issues other than with splicing two strips together. I would recommend that if you are going to splice two strips together to test them out after you splice them to make sure you butted the splice joints correctly and the strips work before attaching them onto your intended surface. I did this for my two sides that I spliced and still had a bad actor. When I first turned the LED's on, I could not get all the LED's all the same color, manually or with the light app and it was worst with the light app with all its functions. Noticed the left strip side that I had spliced was showing the correct color settings than the right strip side, (example: if you formed the letter "L" around the monitor you would have two sides that lit up differently, series-parallel configuration in an “L” pattern) The LED's color string was inconsistent because I had spliced two strips together and the right strip was the bad side where the G, R, B solder joints was not properly seated in the short connectors where the splices were at and was overlapping not getting a good signal for the correct color. Fixed and reconnected the right-side strip and everything worked properly afterwards. Really like the Ehome mobile app, scanned it from the manual using the provided barcode, started using it with no issues. Giving big props for this USB RGB LED's Backlight Kit as a recommendation to get, point blank...!!!!

I am now purchasing some additional strips for both of our kids’ rooms. Can’t beat the quality for the price!<<<Original Review>>>My son really wanted LED lights to go around his room (quite the trend these days), but I was worried about paint peeling off when the lights need to be replaced or taken down. I decided to compromise and give these a shot to go on the back of his TV. I was pleasantly surprised!At first I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to figure out assembly (I know little about electrical currents), but these were incredibly easy to put together. The connectors go in easily, and it’s easy to figure out which pieces attach to others.The adhesive tape is 3M brand, so I know it will stick for quite a while. If adhesion begins to wear down, the lights came with extra 3M backed clips to adhere to the surface of your choice.The lights are incredibly bright and vibrant. Even with his bedroom lights on, the colors really pop behind his TV.Others were having issues with the app, but we have not had any issues so far. We scanned the QR code in the instructions packet, downloaded the app straight from there, and began using the app immediately. I prefer the app to the remote because there are more color options, and you don’t have to click a button over and over to get your desired effect; you can do it straight away in the app. You can also dim the brightness from the app.I cannot speak of the longevity of these lights as we just installed them today, but I am already planning on buying two more sets (one for his desk and one for the back of his headboard).Really happy with this purchase so far!

I have a 55" TV and was concerned that 9.8 ft of leds were not going to give me full coverage as the total lengths of the back were ~13ft. This concern turned out to be unwarranted due to the clever design of these leds. You actually receive 4 individual led strips (2 long for top and bottom and 2 shorter for sides). These strips are then joined via connectors which are an additional 13" each allowing for plenty of coverage as you don't actually need to attach the strips edge to edge. The strips themselves have an adhesive that you can expose, but alternatively (and what I used), they also include 12 plastic "brackets" (3 for each side) that have adhesive and you can then just clip the led strips into. Great glow and selection of controls. There is a manual control (connects to one section of led and has the USB plug in) and I was also easily able to pair their app via Bluetooth to my phone for even better controls. Would definitely purchase again.Tips: The pins of each strip have to be all connected in the same direction to sync the leds (otherwise one strip may be red, while the other strip is blue for example) so go ahead and connect all for strips first as a test before you start to secure/attach to the TV. You can then individually remove each led and reattach to the connectors as you start to secure.Also, I connected to a USB port on my TV, but that only has power if the TV is on (so the leds will come on with the TV). If you would like the leds to be on independent of the TV, you could just use a USB plug to an outlet.

Love them easy to put on back of tv even thou it was in the wall already , the colour variety is great ! Especially with the app on your phone can change brightness ect yeah brilliant makes the tv look very modern and luxurious

Worked out the box, stuck well to the back of the monitor. No remote control except the app which works. Without the app the built in control is very limited, and I have no idea why the app insists on your location!
