This mattress is wonderful. I do not feel the sofa bar, which I was afraid of. I am so happy I made this purchase.

Our sofa bed is 8 years old and even though the bed wasn't used too much the mattress was too compressed and too flat to be comfortable. This new 4.5" gel mattress made it a comfortable bed for guests. Highly recommended.

The mattress itself is SO comfy and nice to sleep on, I *did* pair it with a foldable slat so the bars of the pull-out thingie wouldn't poke through so I think that helped but would recommend for sure! BUT. Took of a star because Fed-Ex gave me a 3 day run around with trying to get it. Said my address was wrong twice and then when I go pick it up at a store my address was FINE. SCREW YOU FED-EX.

More like 4.2 + but the quality is great and is a perfect replacement for our pull out sofa I do recommend waiting a whole day and placing it on a flat surface to let it get to its size.

I read through a lot of the reviews before purchasing this mattress because while I think it’s a cheap price for what you get, it is still expensive so I wanted to make sure I would be happy with it. There were negative reviews that I would say are either false or the buyer got a faulty product because this mattress is amazing! We bought a sofa sleeper brand new and for some stupid reason the only option was the old fashioned style stupid uncomfortable spring mattress, and knowing there were options out there for a better mattress we bought the sofa anyways. We had guests use the original one a couple times and they didn’t sleep that great. We have friends with the same sofa sleeper that we sleep on a couple times a month and in order to make it comfortable we add on a thick foam pad and mattress topper pad and yet we can still feel the springs. The annoying part of that is after a fun night of adult beverages you have to basically build the bed before using it which is quite annoying. Who wants to build a bed while Drunk? Well let me tell you this mattress eliminates the need for that! We bought it, Amazon Prime had it here in one day, and our guest said that night they slept better than in their own bed at home. It didn’t take long to rise to exactly 4.5 inches thick, had zero smell as some of the reviews said, and fits easily folded up for storage in the couch. Later we added a pillow top topper and sheets on it and it still fit into the couch no problem! Now we can easily have the bed set and ready to go, put away for a fun night of intoxication and bad decisions and in a snap the bed can be pulled out so whoever needs to crash and not drive they can do so without having to figure out how on earth to make a bed in that state of mind. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a better solution to the crappy old style sleeper sofa. Don’t bother reading all the rest of the reviews and wasting your time. Just buy it. You won’t regret it.

Highly recommend this product. It was honestly more comfortable than my own mattress that was $500 😂. I unfortunately had to return it due to my sleeper sofa breaking but the customer service dept was so helpful and kind. I was able to return it and I’m very grateful.

I love this mattress it is 100% better than the one that came with expensive sofa size and support is great. I wish I had done this sooner

This product was originally shipped wrapped in plastic, no box. I returned it, and requested one in a box. When I received the replacement, it was obvious that the first one was a returned it. That shouldn't be, its a mattress and should not be re-sold.The mattress was vacuum packed, and I left it out, unrolled for a few hours, for it to puff up. It fit perfectly on my sofa bed, but I would have like some way to secure it to the frame; the old mattress had tie downs. I tried it out for a few minutes and barely felt the bar. I do have a fold-up board that I can put between the mattress and the bar, I think should help with the comfort. It is much more comfortable than the spring mattress I replaced. I have guest coming two weekends in a row, after I get their reviews, I will update, good or bad.

This was on sale for a great price! We bought a second hand sofa bed for my father who has been staying with us since a house fire. The mattress that was in it was old and dirty and coil and really needed replacing. I was worried about this one fitting but did the measurements and trusted it would be fine. When it arrived we unrolled and left it out to sit on our king sized bed because we couldn’t have the sofa out all day in the living room with our toddlers. I didn’t leave it for the recommended amount of time but it puffed up great to the 4.5 inches. We put it on and my husband and I, (him almost 300 pounds) (me 210 pounds and 20 weeks pregnant laid on it together and I was shocked that it was actually quite comfortable. I mean it’s a sofa bed so it’s not like I expect that much out of it, but I’ve slept on some seriously uncomfortable sofa beds and this mattress is a far cry from that. Overall extremely happy with my purchase . Also it fit perfectly and easily folded into the couch and my favourite part was the zip up washable cover ! Those are $60ish dollars alone and it’s great quality cover and makes me feel good that the mattress is protected . 10/10 would recommend for a friend

This came way early and I absolutely love it! For the first time ever my boyfriend passed out as sooon as is head hit the pillow. He has spinal injuries and always has trouble sleeping. We sleep on a pullout couch most of the time, he runs hot and also it was a spring mattress (awful) so the cooling gel top and foam is 1000x better! 100% worth it and great price too, it fits a double/queen pullout (I think ours was a double not a queen but the matress fits just between the armrests without any issue.)I unrolled it and there was no smell, it puffed up right away we got to use it right off the bat. Such a good buy!

It was comfy, easy to maneuver (as far as anything this size and flexible is.) The cover is mildly difficult to get on and pretty easy to get off. Washes up just fine. Plenty of desiccants in the packaging and it was very compact. Fluffed up nicely out of the layers of plastic wrap. Good bang for your buck. Pretty happy with my purchase.

Mattress is surprisingly very comfortable/soft to sleep on. We use it on a fold up couch. I was concerned about the mattress not retaining shape because its folded on itself 99% of its life. But we just pull the bed out 12 hours prior to using the sofa bed and its great. This is not necessary to do, it's just our personal preference.
