The expiration date is only good for 2 months. I must of gotten an old one sitting on the self somewhere. This is not the first time I have boughten Cattleman's, in fact, I have been buying Cattleman's for years at several different stores and this is the first time I have ever seen this short of shelve life, and it wasn't even discounted. I would appreciate a refund or a new gallon of Cattleman's Base BBQ Sauce sent to me. This way I will have it available for the Summer's BBQ season before it expires. Thank you, Dan

Cattleman's has gotten harder to find at local grocery stores in my area. The sauce can be used on its own, but I've used it as a base for making sauce using my recipe. I'd take this over any product I can find on the grocery shelves.
