Not just any microphone stand
Ok, so itās a microphone stand, the same as any microphone stand it holds a mic, but for the price I was pleasantly surprised. I bought it for my 8 year old son who loves to sing karaoke in the house and what struck me first about it was how small it folds up so itās easy to stash away keeping his room tidy. Itās light but sturdy a nice black colour and is not only height adjustable with a boom which is also adjustable but if you donāt want to use the boom there is a thread in top to put your microphone clip on. The legs have plastic caps on so it wonāt scratch your floor if you have wood or laminate. All in all fantastic value for money and probably better than most mid priced mic stands. 10/10 for this product. Iād definitely buy again if I needed another. Highly recommended.

So good I purchased a second!
These stands are probably not the most premium on the market, I didn't have high expectations when ordering one of them but what turned up was well suited to my needs, and I purchased another with free delivery š They handle the Behringer xm8500 easily but with a heavier microphone you may need to weight the base with a sand bag or alternative. Fully adjustable and a good boom length. Ideal for anyone on a budget, and they are very affordable. The supplied cable clip is flimsy and breaks easy, but still a solid 5* from me.

Ok value for money
A bit lightweight but sturdy enough for home use.

Adequate
To say it is 'Professional' may be a Bridge too far.šUnbalanced with a Mike attached, if one extends the Bar.š¤No matter, for I hang my Drum Stick bag on the very end.šIn Truth, a Useful Utility, Well Worth the Reasonable 'Spend' šCompliments of the Season.Graeme@Rite4Me

I wish I hadn't
Way too lightweight for real use. Would be fine in a bedroom...

Decent mike stand for the money.
I have an audio component with built in room correction software. The supplied mike stand broke (after a fair amount of use to be fair). I ordered this from Amazonas a like for like replacement. In fact it looks like the same model, hence the three starts for surliness. But it has been used twice now and works really well.

Perfect for Home Cinema setup with Audyssey etc
Ok, firstly letās get this straight, I bought this to set up my home cinema EQ, purely to support a microphone and set up my Denon AV receiver. I canāt therefore comment on whether this would be any use gigging around Europe with a band etc but I would imagine that for less than a tenner you probably wonāt be buying it for that.Singing at a wedding or in the local village hall....should be fine!As a support to hold a microphone for Audyssey setup or similar home cinema EQ setup itās absolutely perfect, ten out of ten, five stars. The supplied clips and grips should be adequate to hold most microphones, itās adjustable, extendable, sturdy and solid enough to place a mike in your various seating positions whilst you take your measurements. You have spent a fortune on your new AV receiver, why not spend a little more on a proper stand for your setup microphone ... and this is the one to buy :)

Do not buy
Mic stand will not even hold the weight of a mic without it sliding down the pole, it's junk not fit for purpose. The seller makes returning item extremely difficult. Please do not buy this!
