Great piece of kit
Really easy to install, we bought this as an add on to the alarm, it’s veeeeery loud

Easy to install and add to existing system
Added this external alarm to our existing system as we were just outside our house when our dog triggered the alarm and we didn't hear it going off. This certainly won't happen in the future. Delivery was prompt and instructions for installation were easy to follow.

Not tamper proof!
This siren isn’t tamper proof! Be aware!I tested the siren and it’s very loud however it’s not tamper proof! Such a shame!When the alarm was in arm mode I removed the siren from its bracket expecting it to trigger the alarm however this was NOT the case.Such a flaw in the system. A burgular could remove the siren from the property (if it’s outside) and dispose of it before they break it so that it won’t make a sound.Although the siren is loud and aesthetically pleasing it dosent compete with other companies like Ring! Other brand have a tamper switch. The alarm should activate if someone removes the siren however the SimpliSafe siren dosent do that!If you live in a flat then you are okay as the siren is inside however if you live in a house o advise against installing the siren outside (since it’s weather proof)I would love for the company to contact me to discuss this issue as is such a massive flaw!Overall the system is great but the external siren is a no! What stops a burgular from throwing the unit in the kitchen sink and covering it in water that would break it completely.SimpliSafe please contact me.

This was initially broken so had to fix
Good sounder. Does tend to give of chirps when moving between different tones (alarm, entry exit etc). I couldn't initially pair. The problem seemed to be the pairing button, it wasn't making a clicking sound. I took it apart to find the board with the button on it had unmounted from the holder and was no longer under the shells button. I remounted the button board and put back together. The pairing button now worked so all good.Generally a nice sounder and mounts easy, shame the build quality (pairing button broken) let it down.
