The media could not be loaded. Although I don’t own a Samsung phone, I was thrilled to discover this brand-name charger at a great price. It effectively eliminates germs from my phone. The design is simple, clean, and seamlessly fits into any decor. The functionality is intuitive and easy to understand: just place your phone (or other item) inside, close the lid, press the button, and in 10 minutes, it will beep to let you know it’s germ-free. It’s also a wireless charger, which is a nice touch, though I haven’t had a device in it long enough to see significant benefits. The device is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for travel. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a UV sanitizer for electronics.

So far so good. I have had the unit for about 2 weeks. It charges the phone just fine. The information in the description says it will charge watches as well as phones and earbuds, however, the documents that come with the charger states that it will not charge watches. That is no problem for me since I replaced the horrible looking plastic band on my Samsung watch with a metal bracelet.If I have any complaint, it is the fact that the unit is so light that I can't flip it open with just one hand. It has an indented surface on the upper and lower halves but when you try to lift the lid the entire things comes up and the lid stays closed.The charger that I replaced was hit and miss as to whether it was connected for charging or not. There was a blue indicator light on the edge and when a good paring was made the light would alternate between green and blue. I often had to jockey the phone around to find the sweet spot to get the charging connection. With this charger I can just pop the lid and drop the phone in and automatically see that I have a good connection.

NOT ACTUALLY SAMSUNG BRANDyou can tell it's low quality the moment you touch it. However it does work as advertised. This is a good alternative to the $100 brand name. Felt duped because it is sold under Samsung name but I should've known better considering price

So the challenge with this is two fold.1. You don't really have confidence that it's cleaning both sides since the light isn't really getting on the bottom side. This means you need to flip it over and do it again. That's lame. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but that means you can't just put your phone in at night and press the button once. It requires a second pass.2. More importantly, if your phone is not DEAD CENTER in the middle of the device, the wireless charging will not work -- you have to put it in, and make sure it's charging. When you want to go do bed this is just an annoying step of assurance (and nudging). Lastly, it doesn't seem to work if the phone is face down (at least if you have a big case) - you certainly can't verify if it's charging. So you have to time things to clean it face down first -- then do the top and make sure it's working.I just wish they had a slightly more powerful charging base where you didn't need to be so perfect with the placement --- and that it cleaned both sides at once ... :(

The way I know UV lights work is because they remove odors. I wanted something for my toothbrush but none of those small ones work, especially if it’s a purple light. I used this for my toothbrush and it actually worked! It is big but because it’s made for phones and larger objects. It’s a great product!

The lid is too hard to open & it takes too long to sanitize. So I will save it for a backup.
