We have been using the LAVNA smart lock for over 6 months now and are very pleased with the purchase. The installation and configuration was smooth and the whole experience of using a digital lock - setting up different profiles, using finger prints, codes and NFC tap key has been great.

What I liked: - I really found the lock useful. Mostly because I was going outside without thinking about keys all the time. If my hands were full, I didn't have to worry about searching for keys in my pocket. - In one instance I was outside, and my landlord told me that my water was running. I gave my keypad number to a neighbor and they came in and were able to close. - So essentially, it allows controlled and versatile access. - The device looks good too, and has a solid build. Issues: - Price: At that time I bought this one for ~8.2 k which is too much for a lock without wifi capabilities, remote access or general smart home connectivity. (Though I think it has reduced in price now. Probably for these reasons) - Keypad: The keypad is finicky, doesn't always appear as it needs to. Though with some tries it does eventually appear - Fingerprint detection tries: Generally it worked in one go, but about 40% of the time I had to do the thumb press 2-3 times - Number of Fingerprints stored: Stores only 10. And it might seem a lot, but to improve fingerprint accuracy, it helped to input multiple prints, so for a larger household, you have to start sacrificing on accuracy

Extremely poor customer service. The finger print sensor stopped working. I called customer care. They asked me to purchase spare parts from them which I did. Then they charged me with the home visit charges also which I paid and since last 2 days they have stopped responding to the phone calls and messages. Try out other brands and not this.

Lock is very primium looking and also works very fine and easy to operate.

I bought this lock not knowing anything about a smart lock.MY experience has been great so far.Firstly I would like to thank Mr.Aman for getting th installation done within a day as promised.I feel the same lock in other brands are over priced just because of the logo. But Lavna is perfect and loaded with features.As a matter of fact a lot of my friends and relatives saw this product at my place and went for it.. all are happy so far...So great Job team Lavna and hope the same kind of durability and service continues in the future too..

Bought the product a few months ago. Got a call from Lavna for installation after purchase. Person came to install the lock on scheduled date. Setup from the app was very easy. All features (OTP, fingerprint, scheduled access, RFID key, unlock from app etc) are working great so far. I had a carpenter too take a look at the lock to determine if the door needed additional work (to meet minimum thickness) before the lock could be installed. The only downside (and it is not a product issue) is that some people do not understand that they need to keep their finger on the reader for at least half a second. And it wont work if their finger is dirty or wet. Very satisfied with the product.

I am writing this review after 6 months of using the lock. This is one of the best digital locks you will find in market at this price. Dont go after fancy brand names, don't compare features - this one has everything you will need. 7 ways of unlocking work perfectly and the service is really prompt and perfect. Proud that this is truly a world class product made in India. Keep it up Lavna. I will strongly recommend buying this product to all those who want to buy Chinese locks marketed by Indian brands.
