Great product! Not just for your collar!
First, when I ordered the product, I was told they wouldn’t ship for at least a week. Out of stock or something. Pleasantly surprised when they arrived in 3 days! The product itself is great. Even though they are designed to keep your collar flat and neat, and they work well for that, I actually use them to keep a nice looking cuff on my jeans. I work in an office, not very dirty, so I can usually get 2 wears out of my jeans before I need to wash them. A single dot placed on the seam will hold up through both. Very strong. I have not seem any residue left behind when I do peel them off for washing.Other reviewers have stated they are difficult to remove from the paper. That has not been my experience. Just peel one off the paper, attach where you want it, find the crease in the backing and peel that off, and you’re done!I keep most of the dots at home, but have one sheet of 5 in my backpack, in case I need a touch-up during the day. Hasn’t happened yet, because they stick very well, but that convenience is very nice. These are a great product. Many uses beyond just your collar. I will definitely purchase again and again and again and...

Make a $50 shirt look like a $150 shirt instantly
Cost effective way to keep your shirt collars down and looking crisp, especially with open buttons. The only negative is that you have to re-stick after each clean, and so they are less environmentally friendly than collar studs. Some shirts, especially if they are tighter around the neck or have a small space between the first and second button, make better sport shirts (i.e worn with the first button or two unbuttoned and without a tie) than dress shirts (worn fully buttoned up with collar stays and a tie). In such cases, the collars often fly out or curl upward, and even if you address these with a collar stay, the weight of the collar stay might drag the collar lower than it should be; none of these scenarios look necessarily good.In such a case you may visit a tailor and have them install small metal stud buttons hidden beneath your collar, such as the ones that come standard on many Giorgio Armani shirts. The issues with this permanent solution, however, are that (a) the shirt will never quite look the same again when worn with a tie, (b) it can be expensive (in NYC the cost can range from $20-$40 for this work on each shirt), and (c) unless you are using an ultra-premium tailor, they often get it wrong (as happened with me in the two shirts pictured above), and your shirt collar area will ride to high, too low, be asymmetrical, and otherwise scarred for life. This is where these stickers really save the day.As others have mentioned, for best results do NOT touch the sticker area once peeled with your bare finger. Peel one side, place it underneath the collar, and then press the collar down as desired.

One of my most useful products
The media could not be loaded. I've always wondered how to keep a crisp collar I've always dressed up look nice but I always felt uncomfortable because my collars would always stick up sideways or they would completely collapse with these Dapper dots I'm able to look more presentable it does not ruin your clothing and it helps to look slick people are always asking me how does your collar stay so nice and I say it's because of these products

Love love love these!
I Travel for work and these are SO handy. Invisible safety pins. Hem comes down on pant leg? Couple of dots. Forgot collar stays. Couple of dots. Dress Shirt baggy? Temporary darts with 4 dots! Back Tie loop comes off? A dot! Top two shirt buttons open too much? Put a dot in between. Shirt buttons separate at the belt line? A dot! Belt overhang? A dot! These have saved me so many times. Going out as Zeus for Halloween and want lightning bolts on your sneakers? Dots! I use them at home and never travel without them. Make sure to remove them before washing. They don’t leave residue unless washed. They are a bugger to get off but worth it. Also, the tin is great for repurposing and using to organize Dopp kit or backpack.

Helpful Lazy Man Attire
I just these things. They are simple to use and sticks to almost anything. I work in a humid or dry environment and haven't had an issue. I've washed my shirts with them and saw no damage to my clothing. I've left them on suits and sent them to the have them dry clean and there was no damage. They are able to stick and hold cloth, polyester, satin for eight-plus hours. They did not stick well any fleece material that I've tried, at most I've noticed that they may have held for an hour. They come off easily enough if you have some nails.Function / Performance 4 out of 5Ease of use 5 out of 5Quality/quantity 4 out of 5Design 5 out of 5Value 5 out of 5

They hold great but due to the thickness or lack there of
This would be a 5 star product if they weren't so thin. They hold great but due to the thickness or lack there of, they are hard to remove and when you finally peel them off, it still leaves a sticky residue because it comes apart when you finally get enough of it to peel.

Perfect for Poorly-Placed Shirt Buttons or Collars
These Dapper Dots have resurrected several shirts out of my closet. It seems that over the years I’ve collected a slew of shirts deemed unwearable due to rogue collars or poorly-positioned buttons. After getting these dots I simply added a dot to the underside of each collar point renewing once-frumpy shirts with much flatter, crisper collars. This has even worked on flannel shirts, which was surprising to me as I didn’t think the dots would stick well to a fabric of that sort. For shirts where the top button is poorly located, either too high or too low, I have been able to use a dot in place of a button and trust it to hold throughout the day. This is an ingenious little product and comes in a sleek tin. I will be buying again.
