Digi Walker accuracy
I've used the Digi Walker previously and really liked it. This style however doesn't track ever step. If I'm wearing jeans with a bulky waistband you can forget about any steps being tracked.

It's small and priced good BUT it's hard to use. You can only set it in quarter increments which didn't work for me. I tested it against my ipod and it was either too short or too far. It is also hard to figure out if it is set to run. I would set it only to find out that it wasn't calculating.

I love it. It's easy to use and I don't have to charge it or download the information to see my results!

Yamax Digiwalker
Pedometers recommended if they want truth in counting steps and keep a record. They are small and comfortable, easy to use

Well made, lacks ability to zero out before starting an activity.
Accurate counting of steps. Nicely made. Easy to read. Slips in and out of pocket easily. Measures in 1/10th mile increments vs 1/100th miles as with Yamax which I have owned and lost in the past. Can't zero out the current day's mileage so that you can measure a specific walk. I replaced my Yamax, but this is the one I carry the most for its convenience (in the pocket) and ease of use.

Don't buy
No matter what I do, I cannot get this to be any where close to accurate. I have tested it on several one and two mile marked trails. I had high hopes for this product.
