Oh darling, where do I begin? These plastic puzzle pieces have utterly ruined me for all others — cardboard? Peasant fare. Wooden? Quaint at best. But these? These are the Rolls-Royce of puzzles — sleek, precise, and dare I say, deliciously addictive.I thought I was merely dabbling in a bit of innocent puzzle assembly to pass the time. Ha! Fast forward three hours, I’m cross-legged on the floor like a Victorian governess in a trance, refusing to eat until I find that one rogue piece with the green leaf. It clicks together with the satisfying elegance of a royal handshake. Zero dust, mind you — none of that flaky, crumbly nonsense that makes you question your life choices.And the image? Oh, positively divine. It’s like someone bottled nostalgia, poured in a dash of romance, added a cello, a corgi, and framed it all with tastefully eccentric interior design. Honestly, if this were a room, I’d move in immediately and pay rent on time.I fear I am now a plastic puzzle snob, and I make no apologies. Five stars. Ten if I could. Bravo, Pintoo, bravo.

I figured before I go into my declaration of love for this puzzle, I'll in the least start with the bad news. There were a couple false fits, but out of 2k pieces its relatively minor. It mostly occurred for me with the window lines so watch out for that. And lastly is figuring out the puzzle. My issue was, on the box they didn't show the entirety of the original image. I bet you're wonder, "Well, if the puzzle isn't going to look like what's on the box, why does it matter seeing the whole thing?". It's because each detail in there translate to the puzzle. Example: In the original image there is a framed picture of the man at an architect's table. In the puzzle is the same man, slightly older at the same table but now she is behind him bringing him food. I would keep this amazon page handy so you can view the original image as you puzzle.Open Love Letter to Pintoo: I am a huge fan of anime feeling, Studio Ghibli jivin', cutesy style art. Pintoo is all about that style, and this is probably the 6th puzzle of theirs i've done. The pieces snap into place, and my cats can run across it without the puzzle coming apart. I also love how they give a matted/framed look with the white border. The color palette of the image itself isn't vibrant, but that's the vibe of it. The image is still sharp, with nothing muddled even in the smallest details.This puzzle is my favorite Pintoo to date but I'm a bit biased...As I was putting it together, seeing the transition of the younger to older lives of the couple it reminded me so much of my husband and I. I would complete one of the framed pictures in the image, and immediately with a smile show my husband what 'we' were up. "Look I finally taught you how to play piano like you wanted", "Of course there's kitten laying on her Papa", "We finally do make it to Tokyo!", and so much more. Completing this puzzle was fulfilling mentally, and heartfully :)

A fun puzzle for me is one that has all these little scenes in it (like this one!). I want a challenge of a big puzzle but not where I have to painfully put together giant swaths of skies and oceans. So, right off the bat, the art is perfect. One of the twists is that Pintoo doesn’t just do plastic pieces, but that they separate them into bags (this one was 8 panels in 8 bags). I have a small space and table but like the challenge of bigger puzzles. Because the plastic helps the pieces stay in place, I can do a panel and set it aside then put all the panels together at the end! I saw another reviewer complain about this for a different puzzle, but if you want to make it more challenging, you can just mix the bags together, so I’m not sure why that was an issue. The other twist is that this puzzle is part of the Imagination series. Unlike Ravensburg or others who insist on doing mystery plots if the picture on the box doesn’t match the puzzle, Pintoo is just a theme. I like that because it’s like having a guide to the puzzle without the blueprint. Lastly, I’m not a fan of all the artists that Pintoo chooses, but this anime-like style artist is a keeper! It has an adult anime feel which is hard to find in the US for non-anime items which are usually oriented towards kids, teens, and kawaii-lovers (no shade, I love kawaii stuffed animals). Keep up the good work Pintoo!

This puzzle is the most difficult one I have ever done. It has 2000 pieces and the picture on the box is only a hint of the finished product. I had to use my imagination to put it together but the finished picture was worth the time and trouble. I have done 10 Pintoo puzzles from 500 to 2000 pieces and will continue to order from this company.

Love this puzzle! Colors are vivid and the puzzles were divided into 8 sections which was nice. Would recommend!

- Great quality. Because the puzzle is made of plastic, the pieces stick together and you don’t have to worry about moving the puzzle or gluing it. Truly revolutionary- Creative and really cool concept. The actual puzzle is different than the one displayed. The one displayed on the box is a visual of people and their normal lives. The one you actually build is the same people, but what they would look like if their dream came true- Awesome customer service. I lost some puzzle pieces and Pintoo was able to replace it for me quickly and for free
