Great alternative to expensive OEM door actuator
I bought this for my son's aging 2006 BMW 330xi after his passenger door stopped locking and unlocking. Everything I read pointed to a faulty actuator.Since we already have a lot of money invested in the car, I opted for a lower-cost third-party part instead of OEM. The repair itself isn’t difficult, but accessing the actuator requires some patience. I installed this part several months ago, and it completely resolved the issue. So far, it’s still working great.

Works great
Installed on a 2011 335i and fit perfectly even though the Amazon fitment guide says otherwise. Also, the 3 mounting are indeed not tapped but you can use the 3 existing bolts as self-tapping bolts and easily thread the holes.

Works great.
The install was pretty easy. I got it for my e90 335i. Everything lined up perfectly. No coding needed either. The lock actuator works great.

Works great
Make sure that you chase the threads before you put it into the door.

It works perfectly…
…but I had a tough time getting it into the door. There are 2 ways to do it. 1- you mess with the window mechanisms, and 2- you wedge it into the door without messing with the window. And hope that you don’t break the window getting it in!

Giving out 5 months later
Only lasted 5 months and is acting up like if it’s about to die definitely only for temporary fix… get OEM…

Works perfectly
Worked perfect and replaced a failed unit on my passenger door. I wasn’t sure how it would work since way less $ thank buying oem. But a 10 year old car long out of warranty, was looking for the DIY and boom it’s possible! Just make sure to have the right torx wrench and watch YouTube videos which walk you thru it. Saved a ton and back in business
