Burns super hot plus can do lower temp
Well built and super solid stainless steel frame with amazing cast iron burner unit. We did a crawfish boil and this heated faster than the double jet type burner we have used in the past. We paired burner with 64 quart stainless steel pot also from Arc. Came to a high boil quickly and then able to turn down to maintain a controlled boil. When I first lit the burner it was on when I had turned on the gas on which created a low flow of gas. My experience is make sure burner off when opening gas tank valve. It’s opposite of some gas controls where clockwise turns it on and hotter and counterclockwise wise is lower or off. The control knob is clearly labeled if I had bothered to check!! Again, awesome multi-use burner that’s great for boils but we also plan to do our next paella pan meal with this since the temp can be controlled so well.

Quality product
We purchased this Propane Stove to use with a Turkey Fryer pot which is manufactured by the same company. I wanted a stable and secure burner to use with a deep fryer. Most Turkey Fryers on the market came with a burner that looked to be of far lesser quality so I decided to purchase this one. It is extremely awesome! I have complete confidence that this burner will not fall over while cooking my Thanksgiving Turkey. The product is definitely quality manufactured. We checked it out completely for any issues with manufacturing and have not found any so far. I will update this review after using it for the first time on Thanksgiving but don't expect any issues. We did test fire the unit and it works great.

Burns with the fire of Hades
I’ve had two burners like this in the past, and this one has a much more significant heat output! It is terrific for frying turkeys or French fries for a crowd! The burners I’ve had in the past have not been able to keep oil at a sufficient temperature to fry a Turkey or do French fries when the outside temperature is below 45 or so. This one solved that problem. It is also very sturdy and stable - I’m way less concerned about a pot tipping over (big deal with oil frying) than I have been with my prior burners.I have three relatively minor concerns:1. The paint flakes off in the flame-exposed areas because of the heat (though I think this would happen with anything that is painted - only alternative would be Stainless Steel grating like a high end grill). This causes a bit of chemical smell over the first 2-3 burns, but should resolve after that.2. The gas output has some sort of safety control on it which means you need to fiddle a little bit before you get a decent flame. A bit annoying. I’m sure there is a trick to it, but I’ve only used this 10 times or so and all in winter, so I haven’t worked it out yet.3. The instruction manual is horribly poor... that might explain why I haven’t worked out 2 above yet.I would recommend this burner over anything that I’ve seen at Home Depot or Cabellas or similar.

Works great.
The media could not be loaded. This burner is easy to regulate and can produce a lot of heat. Turn it down for slow frying or crank it up for lots of fast heat. We do a lot of canning and our old burner wasn't quite cutting it. This burner didn't take long to boil water and produce steam in our pressure cooker. I even turned it down to conserve on gas because the amount I was using was clearly not required to keep the pressure cooker going strong. It's very heavy duty and made of stainless steel. The burner looks to be cast iron (not 100% sure) it isn't as heavy as you might think but heavy enough to withstand outdoor type punishment. One thing I will note. The first tank I put on it was almost empty and I wanted to use it up. The tank was very low and didn't seem to have enough pressure when I tried to light the burner. It did not light externally and the gas was burning down inside of the burner tube. Inside the tube where your air flow adjustment is. I work with torches AKA rose buds/acetylene torches and I am familiar with this situation. There was no red or blue flame coming out of the burner but I could hear something burning. I realized the flame was inside the burner tube and not coming out of the burner itself (the small holes) if this happens you need to turn the gas off to the tank first then the regulator. Remove the tank and put a full tank on it. When I did this the burner lit up immediately. I'm not sure if this could be potentially dangerous but I do not think if left too long it is healthy for the burner itself as it will get extremely hot where it shouldn't and possible melt the rubber seal on your regulator hose connected to the burner. Long story short don't try to light it with a near empty tank like I did. To be safe always make sure you have a minimum half tank or more before lighting. If it runs out while you are using it, it just burns down low and eventually burns out. My mistake was lighting it on an already very low tank. This is not a design flaw this was a human error on my part. In saying all the that. Use a good tank of gas and light her up because this thing is bad ass.

Paint peels when using. Poorly made. Does have a strong flame/BTU
This thing is POORLY made. I am returning it after one use. I set it up for one lobster boil and all the decals and paint started peeling off. Stinking of toxins in the air. Also the propane hookup and regulator design is poor quality that took some gentle massaging to even get to work.It did boil a 64 qrt of water.
