First, I'm a locksmith with over 35 years in the business. I have seen many versions of combo locks on the market. I realize that not for much more, you can go with a name brand, but on that note, I've seen issues with the name brands, just like the off names. First, this lock was easy to install. Second, the setup was a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy.My use is in a shed (man cave) that is going to house my CO2 laser and other projects. So, I didn't need an expensive unit. Now, the lock side is a little light duty for my taste, but like I said, this is going in a heated shed. The key cylinder isn't as good of quality as the name brands, but they cost $20 to $40 bucks more, so this is too be expected, especially for a import lock. The electronics side is all plastic and it is black. I wish they would have made it out of a mix of metal and plastic.Second, I am returning it. Not because of quality, but because of I found a better unit by the same company, for the same price.Please note, someone mentioned that the motor wasn't strong enough to pull the bolt back. Well, that is a installation problem, not a lock problem. My unit worked perfectly, once I read all the instructions and caught a note that I missed referring to lock handing. I am a firm believer, if it takes more than 2 fingers to lock a deadbolt, the the install is incorrect. I have fixed way too many deadbolts because customers force the bolts in and out. So, if you need to force your deadbolt to lock, they you need to fix that before install any of the electronic combo locks. And if you don't want to fix your existing installation, don't bother buying any combo lock. And this includes having to lean or lift or jiggle a door to lock your current deadbolt.This is a decent combo lockset. If installed properly, it is a nice alternative to the more expensive name brand locks. The only thing I cannot attest to is longevity. It was in the door only a couple days.

just as descrived and arrived on time and was a great value based on features and cost. easy to program and easy to understand the instruction. lock fit perfect and installed in about 10 minutes. would not recommend for an exterior dor but great for bedroom or office on closet for th interior door. item beeps very loud and the lock itseld is loud but again for the price and the features i can easily overlook this little issue. WILL but again and will recomend

I was sooo excited to get this lock. I wanted a way to know when my door was opened and by whom (by code used). Well, I guess I didn't read as well as I thought or I meant to get a different version but THIS LOCK DOES NOT CONNECT TO THE APP IT ASKS YOU TO DOWNLOAD. It was the entire reason I bought it and with no way to reach customer service, I had no way to be certain it wasn't my error.Long story short, upgrade for the lock you think you're buying. Otherwise, this lock is perfect to for multiple access codes and an affordable keyless system you can easily reprogram.

This lock serves both functions that any homeowner wants. A lick with a keypad and a key that’s easy to install but it comes with security features all around. I truly recommend it and it works great. The various code features allow me to set up codes for individuals that can work at my property without having to share my primary house code. The key feature is a great advantage. Been that’s not connected to the wifi is a great security itself because it prevents the code from been hacked.

This is our entry (ha ha) into the keyless entry domain for standard doors. Ours had a previous deadbolt and doorknob combo that has rusted into marginal functionality in the Florida sun & seas. Installation was easy and took about 15 minutes, most of which was wriggling the large touchpad to align the front, back, and side for a super smooth performance. Instructions with diagrams were clear enough that it went in correctly the first time, no re-do.In use, the lights and beeps help confirm mechanics of locking and unlocking. We opted for auto-lock on one door and manual-lock on the other door. No Bluetooth or WiFi, but that was probably the more expensive model with probably shorter battery life. The instructions say that we we will be warned as the batteries reach end-of-life. Not there yet to confirm.Appearance is sharp, if you ensure the gasket seal is seated before tightening the unit. Straightforward pass codes, which were easy to change from the default to ensure security. Don't really need an exterior light at night, as the self-illuminated keys are fully visible and functional.We are considering additional units for parents' home to easy their in and outs. Very pleased with quality, price, features and function.

Love these locks. Front and back doors - work great and inexpensive.

The instructions are not easy to follow. Things in small print are easy to miss the first time and are important. Read all before starting especially the programing part.

it has a simple use, it is not very expensive and it works well
