Switching all my plant covers to these!
Love, love, love these!Pros:Easy to install: It does require the use of a mallet or hammer to get the stakes in the ground, but even with my lack of upper-body strength I was able to do so easily.Appearance: All of my other plant covers look really sloppy, these look neat, clean, and orderly.Sturdiness: I've never had any of them blow away or get moved out of place. Also, because of the interior structure being self-supported, I don't get worried about snow piling up on it and crushing the plants. And lastly - they work! All plants have survived Michigan winters including the polar vortex winter a few years ago.The only con is that they seem to be limited in availability. There aren't many vendors that carry them, and those that do are always out of stock (and unable to order more). Amazon is literally the only place I've been able to buy them, and even then, the larger sizes seem to be in short supply.

Great for snow protection in winter and scorching sun in summer
I used 4 of these last winter and just purchased 2 more (and am now using some to protect plants that are having a hard time holding up to 95 degree+ days under Denver's mile high sun). They did a great job of protecting 1st year plants from breakage by snow (I did not let the snow pile up and left them in place all winter). They are easy to use, but do agree that the tie strips on the outside could be a lot longer so they could be tied like a shoe lace. Discovered that if I stack them one on top of the other when open, I can then collapse them as one unit, and only have to tie the sides of the outside one - and it holds all of them together for storage. Then if I need one or two for sun cover, I can slide them out from the inside of the bundle and they are ready to use (without having to untie anything). My experience has been positive so I would recommend.

Too early to know
I bought these in the summer in preparation for our subzero winters. I haven’t got to use them yet as it’s August, but they seem very durable and easy to store.

Good idea, not so good parts, easy fix
I have read about the problems many people have had with the rods that hold the cover open. I have found a possible reason for the breakage. The rods are tied to the cover with ties sewn to the cover. These ties can come loose and not hold the rods in place, so when you open or close them the rods get in a bind and snap. I checked all my covers and found most had the ties undone. I re-tied them with a square knot instead of a bow. To replace broken rods i found a web site that sells rods that work perfectly. Goodwinds.com sells the rods, part #FSW187072. .187" X 72". Price as of6/21/21 was 3.95. These are a perfect fit when cut 58".I like the protection These provide and with modification and new rods, they should last a long time

Great covers for flower pots
Easy to use and very helpful protection for large flower pots during heavy rain storms. Appear to be strong enough to protect small shrubs from snow although I haven’t used them for that.

Outstanding
The media could not be loaded. It basically comes preassembled folded in half in the box and then you open it up. This was fabulous as I had tried a different brand first and couldn’t put the arches together. This one also came with stakes and instructions. Although I misread the instructions, the stakes never came out during the winter. One lifted up today during a wind storm (40-60 mph gusts), and I was able to easily put it back into the ground. I was quite impressed because Western NY can get up to 170” of snow or more in areas and this never collapsed. It also lets light through.

Love these!
We have a rose garden, with 18-20 bushes, on the west side of our home & gets the harsh winter winds. These covers are great for protecting the plants from the drying wind, yet sunlight, air and rain can get in to nourish the plants. No more soggy leaves from the old, Styrofoam cones! Easy to use and store when not in use, and function well year after year.

Easy to put up
We had some new bushes planted in the fall. They are planted in an area where my husband has to blow a lot of snow onto from our driveway. These tents have protected the fragile new bushes and kept them from being crushed under the weight of the snow. They were also VERY easy to install.

Easy to install
The product was easy to put together (had to tie outer mesh to the supporting ribs), and easy to install. The ground pegs are somewhat fragile and will break if hit too hard, or off center. Don't know yet whether they can stand up to the snow load where I live, but stay tuned.
