Maxwell Williams is a well established, trusted quality brand.Made with 100% Ethically sourced cotton this bag is naturally biodegradable but you will use it for years first!It is a decent size at 16.5" x 16" (42cm x 41cm) and unlike other tote bags we have has a 9cm gussett so can hold so much more and is easier to fill because it has a flat bottom.The quality is superb, a perfectly printed design on the front (Plain on the back) all of the stitching is perfect inside and out, all of the inside hems have been overlocked and reinforced with double locked stitching, so should last for ages.The owl design by Pete Cromer is striking and unusual and is bound to draw comment whenever you use it.Would make an excellent gift, especially for a bird lover! DW couldn't wait to take this to work with her lunch in it!The price is about right at £11.99 (at time of review) considering the Brand / Quality of the item.There are several other birds available in the collection, I think we may even get another one or two!I am happy to recommend this item.

I love this colourful tote bag. I do not use plastic carrier bags at all now and have a selection of shoppers and tote bags I keep in the boot of my car for when I do the weekly shop. I am always one or two bags short and consequently jumped at the chance to own this beautiful colourful bag which depicts a Owl. The bag is large and very roomy to hold my groceries and the colours are absolutely lovely. The bag is 100 percent cotton and is 42 x 41 cm in size so will hold a great deal of my shopping.This bag will also double up as my book bag when we can return to book club in the future, as I run a book club I always need to transport several books at a time when we meet and this will be my go to bag for that. Well made and strong this lovely little bag is like a ray of sunshine and deserves five stars. I love it.

Such a beautiful tote bag. My wife and me stopped using plastic bags at all, why would you if you have so many reusable bags like this one. I never heard this brand before and i had big expectations when i saw tag with designed in australia but on the end made in india. Print on front is super cute. Really interesting and outstanding design, not just boring plain white or black. My wife loves it, every time now she is going on shopping she is taking it with her. Just please be careful because this tote bag is very thin, do not put any extra heavy items inside because it might not last long then. This bag definitely can cheer you up. I would not pay however that much money for - eventually only a bag. It is like 3x what you would pay in regular shop. Still looks awesome. Very pleased with item.

This is a very attractive tote bag, very well made from a strong canvas-feel cotton fabric with double-stitched seams and secure handles sufficiently long to be carried comfortably over the shoulder.It stands apart from other tote bags which are merely squares of fabric stitched together whereas this, in contrast has a 9cm gusset to the base which makes it easier to pack and gives it a much better shape when in use carrying daily items whether small amounts of shopping, supplies for a day trips, school books and binders or leisure items.The design with gusset, fabric quality, standard of manufacture and finishing along with the eye-catching owl design ensure this bag feels special, worth its relatively higher price and it would make an appreciated gift for a lucky recipient.

This is a really attractive bag, albeit made from a thin canvas, so it is unlikely to cope with the strain of a weekly shop for long. It will, however, be fine for general use, such as day trips or light shopping duties, or even to carry sundries that you need to take for work.The designs are really attractive and vividly colourful, so the bag does stand out from the crowd. It is also gusseted, which will make packing groceries or anything else for that matter, easier as well. The handles are stitched strongly in place with a cross-stitching that should ensure they stay attached for the life of the bag.It is a nice bag, perhaps a little toppy on its rrp, but if you accept its limitations, a good option.

My favourite colour is purple so when I got the opportunity to have this gorgeous tote bag featuring an owl I was delighted. For me it is far too pretty to use for shopping with so I have it in my craft room keeping my daily journal supplies stored in it so that I can grab the bag and take my journaling supplies with me from room to room. The bag is slightly smaller that I thought it was going to be but that is my error on reading the dimensions. The cloth is pretty sturdy with nice long handles - the stitching is all immaculate with no loose threads etc. When I am not using my journal supplies I hang this bag over the handle of my craft room door so that I see it all the time. Such a pretty tote bag.

I got this for my wife ( daughter also wanted it so need to get a second )My wife loves this tote bag and this design, and colours, its a very modern print. The tote bag is well made its 100% cotton and the stitching is perfect no loose threads., the handles are nice and long and can be carried over the shoulder with easy.The size is perfect for small amount of shopping however my wife is going to be using it for work, she can carry her uniform and other items in with easy, unlike most tote bags this one does have a small bottom so things can be placed flat.Over all the tote bag is amazing at £11.99 its a little more costly than others however the quality I believe its worth it recommended
